Normal, especially if buying the ASX or whatever current car you own is based on a compromise, usually a compromise on price or necessity of use of the vehicle (like forced to buy a SUV when you wanted a sedan).
The HP gain is rather fuzzy because I wasn't able to do a baseline on the dyno. But the ASX did gain a whole lot of torque in the midrange of the RPM range. For me, the performance gain was worth the price. If you want more, maybe you should have gone for the Hyundai equivalent.I have an ASX but I feel like I'd trade it for a Cruze 2.0 diesel. I want a better interior and a more powerful engine. I guess some mods could do that for me? I couldn't quite figure out the graphs in the previous posts. How much HP did you gain? I know you spent a lot of money but, do you think it was worth it? I kinda want to do the same to mine.
As for the interior, if you aren't happy, you can have it re-done in leather.

Anyways, think it over maybe this car is not the right car for you. It is normal to envy others since they have supercars like Porsche GT2 or Nissan GT-R, but the way I see it your not that happy owning this car since you even envy cruze owners na.
