took my ASX-GLS last night for a spin. (1wk old/200+ odo) QC-NLEX-SCTEX (ikot sa CLARK-South Exit) then back QC.

did a moderate and upak/manual shifting and was able to hit 170kph (forgot at what RPM). Around 10pm-1am

    observations:
    - toyed on CRUISE control (i wish to know sana the min/max na kaya nya magengage -tamad basa ng manual hehe)
    *** 60 to 140 nag-e-engage pa rin.
    - set to 100, apak ng onti (expected to release the Cruise control nun tumaas ang speed but nag lock pa rin pagbalik 100, so unless you stepped on the brakes or push the "cancel" button saka sya mag disengage.)
    - on D position, once you hit the paddle shifters (+/-) it changes to the manual mode (depends on your speed). And pressing the + for around 2(?) seconds it returns back to D. Or at fullstop/traffic it returns to D.
    - as you notice the steering is so light (nasanay ako sa monty), parang tumitigas during hi-speeds? or it's just me?

when parked at home, the gauge showed me 11.1L/100km - so 9km/L yun FC nun trip ko.
Doin northbound around 100-140 with quick burst to 170, while goin home was just cruisin to 90-120.

    Shell Premium.

Honestly, mas nagustuhan ko nga yung ride niya nung nag palit ako ng Rims e. Initially kasi may naririnig akong parang "tug" sound sa likod pag nadaan ako sa humps (when I was still in stock rims). Pero nung nag palit ako nawala.

And there is not much difference in terms of ride since its just a +1 pero the handling definitely improve since mas malapad yung goma.

Same here. Yung HU talaga kailangan palitan bro. Nag hanap na nga ako ng papalit kong HU. Nakakapang hinayang nga lang yung GPS function nung stock pero.... ang solution ay bumili na lang tayo ng handheld na GPS. Hehehe.

Just got my ASX this afternoon, Amazon Red GLS, dropped my first choice of Sub XV coz Motor Image was so unaccommodating and insistent with what they want

In the long run, you'll be happier with the ASX... cheaper to maintain, similar interior space,... although I do miss the sunroof.

Good thing I did go for the ASX, my bro kept telling me no resale value for Subs and Headlightf Forester already 90k-100k. Happy with my choice :-)
