So sad, Winterpine dunno how to install alarm for keyless entry with push button engine on ASX
Madami na rin pala ASX sa Manila, last year na luwas ko swerte na may makita akong isa sa kalsada. Ngayon nitong huling dalawang luwas ko, malas na kung di ako makakita ng dalawa!
This ASX thread helped me firm up my decision to have one. Hoping to have it this week.
I will be having my ASX serviced for its 10k PMS. Where do you guys recommend I bring it to? What branch? I'm planning to bring my own motor oil din pala.
Note: I bought my ASX in Cebu.
I used to take my ASX at Diamond Motors in Marcos Highway, Cainta. You can bring your own oil as long as it is the same specs or better than what they are using there, no corkage fee. But I guess it's a bit far from where you are. Diamond Motors in Cainta is the best service center that I've taken my Mitsubishi cars! Very good service and they will tell you what is to be done to your car and the cost involved then you can even tell them what you don't want to be done to reduce the overall cost of the PMS, minor stuff which add to the cost.

Just sharing: ************ - Philippine Car News, Test Drives and Prices: 2012 Subaru XV 2.0i vs 2012 Mitsubishi ASX GLS SE
Although mas gusto ko pa rin ang ASX after seeing the XV at motor image about 2 months ago (or baka bias lang ako :D)
In the review, in the "value for money" portion, I don't agree with the "winner" for this portion. The ASX already comes equipped with GPS as standard for the GLS and GLS-SE. I would prefer that over a moon-roof, a feature that is actually useful to the driver than just an icing on the proverbial cake.
True, I miss having a sunroof/moonroof in my car but once you get over the novelty of a glass window over your head, you'll have it closed and shaded 99.99% of the time because of the heat of the sun during daytime driving.
Then for the final "verdict" I still say the ASX should have been the choice. Why? With the Subaru XV, you have only two trim options and both are basically the same mechanically. The ASX, you have the option of three layouts, MT with FWD, AT with FWD and AT with AWD. Each of these options will affect how the vehicle will perform. One thing I did feel was the GLS-SE with it's AWD was slower than the GLS. Also expectedly, the fuel economy is slight lower in the GLS-SE. The fun and practical choice for the city dweller (who would never really go offroading) would be the ASX GLS. And that would give the buyer a cheaper option for a crossover car. Plus more cargo space and taller headroom in the ASX is a bonus.
Yup, qc ako. Hehehe tanong tanong lang. (updating the list of owners too, hehe)

Happy owner of a white ASX here from BF Homes Paranaque. Happy with the way it handles and the fuel consumption. Had it for 5 months now, but 2k palang mileage hehe
