Haayz. Another smart alecky comment. It's ok. I understand you just wanna have fun like the rest rather than pointing it out that it's maybe a typo.

It's actually a manual bluish silver Honda Jazz 2006 model. Then it costs 635T, that is if you interested to know. I am still using it.

No problem. I'm glad to help a fellow ASX owner. Ya, I know. Simple clarifications would have been nice.

You're better off avoiding the comparison thread since posts there are way off topic. I just hope people respect this thread.

Anyway I saw a Mitsu ASX at wow ganda ng porma outside. Like the tucson.

Maganda porma nung dalawang kotseng ito. Still, may kaliitan (but then I look lovingly at Nissan Patrols and Ford Expeditions always...... and look at Jazz, Fiesta, City, Vios...etc...as bulilit cars...)
Hehe. Looking at it in perspective, kakatawa nga. La kase ako ingat sa post ng year model eh. You are right. Medyo me kaliitan eto if you are really into big cars. Ako kase I am into bulilit cars. If a lot of fellow docs here are eyeing for BMW X5, I want the hatchback. Just a small guy here with tiny needs eh. Haha.

So far so good. Lapit na sa 1000km. Nag-warning na siya na due na for maintainance ng umabot ng 900kms. Yup, I must agree. hahaha. Angas ng presyo. Napasubo ako. Honda CRV kase talaga kunin ko sana eh. Mas mahal konte ang CRV, but you know Honda. You never question their prices kase ganun talaga.

I hope not. I didn't consult a lot of people when I decided to buy this. I just trusted myself and went to ASX which I loved the look. And the size is just right for me. Pero eto pa lang car na hindi pa known and tested ang make na binili ko, at siya pa pinakamahal. Sana di ako magsisi, which a lot of ASX haters are waiting for. Yun me mga lumabas na defects, etc.

Hi kiddydoc. Congrats on your asx. Mine is GLS silver. Got it first week of September. So far I haven't encountered any defects in the unit. I would say its worth the price. You won't regret having one. The cargo area is a bit small though so in case you have big family and always travelling out of town, this may pose a problem and may require a little creativity in the arrangement of baggages. Nonetheless, its really fun to drive and nice to look at while parked. The interior is quite roomy for the car's size. This probably explains the lack of cargo space.

Any news on the availability of ASX accessories here in metro manila. Dropped by Diamond motors valle verde last saturday and they don't have any idea as to when the accessories will arrive. Planning to get the mud guards, window visor, chrome door handles and chrome side mirror cover as my christmas gift to myself.

Thanks! Yeah noticed the cargo space. My Jazz has even bigger space if the back seats are folded forward. But I really seldom bring a lot of stuff so it is not really a major concern. Anyways, me and my bro are neighbors and we share a common garage. So if needed to haul some big cargo, will borrow his Montero Sport or Honda CRV.

The ASX is not very popular here in this part of Batangas, and me not being an enthusiast was always late in latest motoring news. I just knew about the ASX 2 weeks before actual purchase. Promotions of this car is also much less compared to others like the Ford Fiesta and Mazda 2, wherein there is greater visibility of sales reps and brochures abound. And when you had your car September, sobra busy ako 'coz it was Dengue season.

Yup. I asked my SA also. No idea when available. Mud guards and window visor muna for me. And will see the door handles and mirror cover. Nice to have a local forum like this so we can share stuff or problems about our vehicle.

*all: I still don't have any update on the availability of the accessories (Cebu City). Planning to get mudguards and side visors outside the casa nalang muna. Meron ba sa mga banawe shops?

Try Winterpine Marketing along Araneta Ave. Sa kanila nagpapakabit ang mga MMPC dealerships ng genuine Mitsu accessories.

Anyone seen a gray asx in the local market? It seems that the dealerships here don't offer it.

I pass by Marquee Mall in San Fernando Pampanga and I saw a red ASX in the car show at the mall. It is complete with accessories, including skirts. Ask the sales rep if the accessories are already available and they said it is by order from Car World. Forgot to check the prices except for the front and rear skirt and I was amazed at the cost, it's a whooping 100k just for the front and rear skirt. Maybe I will just wait for it to be made available with Atoy or in Banawe.

I'm not really sure if the ones I see is really gray or just the quartz brown (which I know is locally available).

Car World? Wow. Mahal naman. Wala bang replacement for mudguards and side visors?

It would have been nice if you have a list of the prices for respective accessory.

Wow. This thread is heating up! Peace bros...

Anyway, Im planning on getting an ASX GLS. I really dig the interior, stance and the aggressiveness. My other choice was the Chevy Cruze, but after reading some of the forums, I got turned off by the after sales service and parts prices/availability. Dont get me wrong, I fell in love with the Cruze. But taking a chance on whether the dealership would live up to my expectations or not is too much of a risk for me. on that note, can you guys recommend a good dealer for Mitsubishi? Im live in Makati and work in Ortigas. Thanks in advance!

I hope you decide on the right choice and get the ASX. Hehehe.

Regarding your question on a good Mitsubishi dealer in/near the Makati or Ortigas area, that I can't give you any suggestions since I live in Cebu.

Based on experience, maganda ang deal sa Citimotors Makati pero pangit feedback sa service. Sa Diamond motors, magaganda feedback sa Marcos Hiway and Valle Verde. If I were you, i'll get my car sa Citimotors then service (PMS) ko sa Diamond motors. Pwede naman yun. :D

    Guys,

I went to Diamond Motors Greenhills (the new one along edsa) to take a final look at the ASX when i got blindsided by a red Mitsu Lancer GTA! I cant believe this car wasnt even on my radar. Such a nice ride...with a little bit of everything plus they look alike (Lancer and ASX front fascia)...Finally, the P155,000 off on the Lancer was too good to pass up, so i got the Lancer instead. Their deal was just unbeatable and ang baba pa nang DP. Ill be getting the car next week hopefully. But the ASX is still in my heart (haha baduy). Who knows, if I make extra cash next year I just might pick it up as well

Hahaha. Congratz on your new EX. I guess you're right. The discount for the current Lancer is hard to resist. If I were to get a sedan right now, I will most likely buy the EX too.

Since I've always liked a small SUV or CUV, I picked up the ASX. It was love at first sight.

Have fun with your new ride.
