Yes, GLS SE only It does have On/Off and Cruise Control, right? Yes Any other differences? Thanks in advance.

P.S. Meanwhile, I was told the GLS SE doesn't have a sun roof, unlike its counterparts abroad.

i just downloaded the GLS brochure from mmpc site: http://www.mmpc.ph/asx_gls/brochure.pdf

i don't see any "outdated" info there... care to elaborate your expectations?

I've done that and it's an old version of the ASX brochure.

Thank you. About the brochure, for one, it says "keyless operation + engine start/stop button" is limited to the GLS SE.

My sales agent also insists the GLS also has HID headlamps. Is this correct? Thanks for your help.

Might as well ask you this: I suppose you're referring to this reverse camera:

    Ebay link
The seller claims this CCD camera is better than the usual CMOS type. Does it have a built-in light to replace the ASX's built-in plate light? It's not obvious in the picture.

I'm also thinking of getting a side camera (I'm a newbie driver and want to see what's on the right side) =B) Will something like this work?

    Ebay link
It's supposed to be installed under the side mirror, but how exactly will the cables go inside the vehicle? Thanks!

The ASX back camera fits into a pre-cut hole on the left of the license plate area. You do not have to remove any of the existing license plate lights. The hole is currently covered by a plastic piece.

Do you still disconnect power from the ASX's built-in license plate light and replace it with the camera's built-in light?

Which of the configurations on this page do I choose? Port A or Port B?

    I'm still confused. Thanks.

The one you have in your link replaces one of the original license plate lights.

    Try looking at these:

LINK: Car reverse camera for Mitsubishi ASX , rear view camera Free shipping-in Parking Assistance from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com

LINK: Mitsubishi ASX Car Rear view camera Reverse camera Backup parking camera with 170 degree view angle waterproof Night Vision-in Parking Assistance from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com

Power for the camera is taken from the license plate lights. Just tap the existing wiring.

Thanks. Any other differences? By the way, when did the 2012 ASX come out here? I'm still thinking whether I should wait for the 2013 version.

    Sirs:

Ask ko lng po your experiences about the ASX's noise in the cabin. Like how is it on city driving or when you go more than 80kph? or at what speed is the noise already wanna make you slowdown?

I'm asking because I saw youtube videos saying the noise is something worth looking into for the ASX. i like the 'nguso' design besides my assumption that its a good air intake but i just worry this further intensifies the already noticeable noise inside.

or if someone can compare it with a honda jazz in terms of noise level that would be helpful too.

    Thanks in advance.

No experience on my part & no issue from this forum!

So far, ok naman.

Used to drive a '09 civic 2.0S and for me medyo mas maingay lang yung engine ng ASX when you reach high RPM. Pero the fastest I hit in my ASX is around 140kph pa lang. The civic I was able to hit 165. City driving, pretty much the same.

Try to do a test drive. Overall I think ASX is a very good CUV.

careful ka with those sellers from china, you have to be detailed on your orders

for the installation of my rear cam: page 175, http://tsikot.com/forums/mitsubishi-.../index175.html

here are a few pictures for better visual understanding..

i wont be recommending yun nabili ko IF you plan to buy deflector brand na car plate cover
you need some creativity to cut off some areas to give way to the camera... otherwise tatama.

Mavo-void daw warranty since electrical.

No way.

Official installation ba 'to? Salamat.

like been discussed before, bring your "gadgets" to winterpine araneta if you want to retain your warranty on electricals. Exclusive distributor of Mitsu Head Units & some accessories.
Rear camera's will be easy for them, not sure with your side cameras.

for ASX, camera's mine, paid labor for installation p500 (+100 tip to the installer)
for Montero, i paid 5,400 for the camera & installation (+100 tip to the installer)

I just hate the argument/debate in case there might be problem arises on electrical warranty.

Eto naman position nung Camera ko for my personal reasons kaya di ko pinalagay sa gawing labas at taas ng license plate,

    eto yung output,
