Hehehe... 18" tires & wheels on a 2.0L compact sedan.

While the likes of the Evo IX, Boxster, Z4, TT, etc. are only rolling on 17 inchers. :hysterical:

Come to think of it, Mitsubishi is notorious in selling new old stock (or is it old new stock?). Take a look at the L300 Versavan, a design still from the 80s I believe. And I get to see a lot of Gen1 Adventure, all brand new without plates, on the road.

That's probably the base model, which is the most utilitarian of all the Adventure variants.

But then, you could say that even the top-of-the-line model still generally resembles the G1 Adventure anyway.

At 998k, mura nga yang lancer. Only problem is kung fuel efficient ba. I think the 2.0 civics are having some efficiency issues.

Kung wala silang ibebentang 1.6 or 1.8 model in the future, I think they'll be down on sales. Oh well, as what niky said, they might be targetting a different market and I'm not one of them...hehe. I'd rather get the civic 1.8 or the corolla 1.6V.

They'll be competing with the subaru and the 2.0 civics then. If I have the moolah, I'd get the subaru.

Yikes, a bit on the expensive side. Considering the base model of their competitors are just in the mid P700k range. I guess Mitsubishi Phils. is justifying their pricing on how a vehicle looks. Almost P200k ang price difference ng base model nila laban sa competition. They'd better have a good overall package and not just brag about that sound system.

Walang actual pictures? Parang sarap yata bumili ng Civic 2.0 and Lancer 2.0, ok lang naman dyan top of the line.

Yung Altis na bago, wag na lang Corolla pa din yun kahit top of the line, parang parepareho lang mga models.

Guys i personally seen the new lancer yesterday, and test drove the unit (2.0 GT)...The ride was so good with a cornering attitude of mazda 3, sa features halos nandito na lahat. eto pa nakita ko:

-Auto focus headlight on/off-yung pag liliko ka susunod yung focus nung headlight mo.

    -6 air bags!!!!!!!!!
    -standard remote trunk release
-full wrap-around bodykits with rearwing spoiler
-standars 18inches wheels (the spare are 18" mags too)
    - auto door open owner hand detection
    - 6-speed sportstronic with magnesium paddle shifts
    - Maluwag na rear passenger seats

all for 1.040M- sa plagay nyo ba di pa sulit to?!!!!!

Totoo ba ito? Mukhang good deal nga ah. 6 airbags is a winner for me.

Sulit yan kung ganyan ka loaded yung lancer. All I'm saying is to those with limited budget and was expecting a 700k+ range for a sedan wont be able to buy the new lancer models. Sayang, lost clients na kaagad yan for mitsu...

together with the new upcoming jazz, the lancer is one of the most anticipated new cars for 2008(IMO)... nevermind the new accord, can't afford it anyway hehehe

Lugarai: WOW on the airbags. I'm very picky on cars when it comes to safety. I currently have dual airbags (because this is the only one I can afford right now) but anticipating my own family soon...a car with 7 airbags would be a consideration...now about the price and engine (fuel economy)....sana matipid din.
