sir, i clear ko lang, bakit libre sa winterpine? mukhang walang alam itong sa dealer namin(di ko na babanggitin) kung paano gagawin yung autolock. Pano ba pag auto lock, ,magla lock mag isa pag apak sa preno o pag umaandar na? sa yo baq sir, naka auto lock na? saan nyo pinabago? thanks in advance.

hi sir sorry for the misunderstanding, sa alam ko winterpine kasi ang official dealer sa locks ng mitsu(maybe mali ako since built in japan ang new lancer) but sa case sa strada ko just bought it to winterpine tapos sila na mag set sa autolock. maraming klase na autolock sir, sa case namin sa advie namin and sa strada pag ignition key mag autolock and pag off auto unlock. sa fortuner and captiva naman yung speed sensor na lock(auto lock pag abot ng 20kph) iba2 auto lock sa iba-ibang sasakyan.

if dun ka sa casa magpa kabit di ma vo-void but if outside casa it will void your electrical warranty, but note, thats the case dito sa cebu dont know diyan sa manila maybe hindi pareho. para sure talk with your SA sa casa if pwede ba o hindi.

Hi to all new lang po on this thread I plan to buy the old model lancer CVT since its still available, ask ko lang po if equipped na cya with INVECS III same with the latest Lancer GLS? and ok naman po ba performance nito cause i'm considering din Honda Jazz automatic. tnx

Yes, equiped w/ INVECS III ang lahat ng matic ng Lancer. 1.6 or 2.0 models.
Ok naman performance. Abuse this -> 100kph at 2000 RPM. yummy!

guys, ask ko lang, kasi yung gt-a ko white e lam nyo naman po dito sa pinas, kurakot mga taga government kaya puro spalto lang nilalagay nila sa kalsada. Ask ko lang po, masama ba yung ginagawa ng carwash ko, binubugahan nya ng gas ung most part na may spalto ng gas.. Ok namn. Is it bad to the cars specially sa paint..

guyz it's me again, my another concern ako bout sa ex gt-a, bkit gnun wala pang 1000 km reading may warning na periodic inspection?.. nagwworry na kasi ako eh. hehe.. and guyz dba ung gt-a walang autolock ng doors? pwede kaya ipaautolock yun? thanks nga pla sa inyong lahat. My wife likes honda jazz, pero im convincing her na lancer is ok din at bigger pa, with much cheaper maintenance over honda. Isang tanong na lang po matipid ba fc ng lancer 1.6 this is what i'm considering to buy. Thanks sa replay bro.

The Lancer cheaper to maintain than the Jazz. San naman napulot yan? If remember Honda allows their cars to be maintained every 10,000km while Mitsubishi requires you to do a PMS every 5,000km. Add the fact that Jazz is a subcompact requires less oil than a compact Lancer. All these Honda high maintenance costs is so baloney unless you still live in the 1990's. I was just checking my calendar 2009 na tayo unless I am in some kind of time space warp

Better use a commercially available tar remover, if you can find one. But I read somewhere before that as long as kerosene doesn't stay long on the paint, it is virtually harmless. HOWEVER... the kerosene, being a solvent, will take off some of whatever sealant/wax you put on the paint. So just be prepared to re-seal and/or re-wax. And of course, "as long as it doesn't stay long" is the key phrase... wash the kerosene off thoroughly right after applying it.

Of course Lancer drinks more oil than a Honda Jazz, Lancer 1.6 vs Jazz 1.3L/1.5L, hence compared to Jazz, it will be more expensive to maintain than Lancer (1.3L = +-P1.5k * 10k kms, 1.5L = +-P500 *10k kms). As what Tidus said.
What you do is compare it with Altis or Civic. Although Civic is 1.8L.
For my Lancer, although, recommended maintainance for Casa is every 5k kms, I skip that, and go every 10k kms. Why? Because what the Casa does at every 5k is just check everything if its working fine. Top up oil and other stuff. If the car has no problems at 5k, skip it. Less hassle for you and your pocket.

Depends on what you like though, Jazz or Lancer. Pero masisikmura mo ba na Subcompact car at P712k - P810k compared to a compact car at P685k - 745k? Mas malaki space ng Lancer for 5 people w/ cargo kaysa Jazz. Lancer has better torque low down the RPM range due to CVT, while for Jazz, you'll have to rev the engine to get better response (as what car reviews said). For zipping the city, both cars are great though.
In my personal opinion though, Lancer has better materials than Jazz. Too plastiky for my taste.

most neighborhood car washes use kerosene to remove road tar from body panels. it's cheap, readily available, and not harmful if done properly. they should rinse it off immediately lang. after that, re-wax the panels as the kerosene strips of whatever wax was present before.

if you don't trust your car wash place, i suggest DIY na lang. commercial bug & tar removers can be had from your mall hardware store. if you don't want to do this, switch to a pro detail shop. search the board. there are lots to choose from.

i would not worry too much about it. it's supposed to tell you that your car is due for inspection. in my case, since i bring my car for PMS regularly, i just simply turned off the warning. read your car manual. search the net. i'm sure you will find your answers there.

Sir mas ok kung reverse cam medyo magastos nga lang kasi pag sensor kakainis lang yung beep sound nya di accurate...naghahanap ako ng switch para sa central lock hirap maghanap
