I find the data from Jobstreet inaccurate because it's too low. But if you look at the FB page, most comments say that it's too high. [emoji848]

Monthly rate is usually computed as your annual rate (incl. all guaranteed bonuses, not just 13th month) divided by 12. But some people also compute the other way around - monthly rate x 12 for the annual, then add all the bonuses.

Based on the latest survey, PUP tops the list of preferred schools again. But their data is based on Jobstreet, and in that Jobstreet survey, the highest paying fresh grad job is 27k. [emoji23][emoji23]

I can tell you with 100% certainty that there are first jobs that pay much more than 27k and the people who get those jobs aren't mostly PUP grads. [emoji6]

Not sure if this is true, but daughter of a family friend who was one of the top in batch was offered 80k by a multinational FMCG for his/her first job.

    Yes that's true.

5 years ago it was 65k for Unilever (UFLP), 52k for P&G. So 80k these days for a Unilever management trainee seems about right.

Mababa nga because using that data for AM/M, I am above the top average. But in reality mababa sweldo ko, dahil wala pa kong 2 digits monthly But based on where you work, those stats will be really low, since you belong to one of the top paying companies in the country

PUP is preferred by BPOs ata? But most prestigious companies only hire UP, DLSU-M and ADMU, then a very small percentage of other schools. Nestle nga puro Ateneo, at least during my time.

You will be surprised some BPOs are offering only P12K/month for clerical jobs.

If you're talking about IE in DLSU [used to be IME with minor in ChemE or MechE],-then, it is practically the same package as ME in ADMU,- but with more focus on the engineering(application) side of things.

We treat IE grads as normal college grads in our company. ME lang ng Ateneo ang may premium. Also, iba nga focus ng IE diba. I have several IE friends and we make fun of them na "Instant Engineer". IE ng DLSU pwede average intelligence pero ME ng Ateneo, you have to be really intelligent.
