Good to know if nabibigyan na nga ng chance. Mismong mga Company ang pumupunta for Job Fairs some of them actually are hired even before they graduate.

but what is really communal? from the word communism. ano communism lahat ng bagay pag-aari ng gobyerno share share kayo ng maduming cr, maduming kainan, books whatever. kita mo how these Atenean think tanks brainwash us, suddenly communist ideals are good and refreshing. We should know better! sarap sarap ng privacy ng sarile mo table, saka dalawang CR for genders.

Depends on the company bro. 3 out of the last 4 companies I've worked with, big majority pa rin are from the top 3 schools. In all 4, the top management almost exclusively comes from the top 3.

If anything, my current company which is most notorious for not even entertaining resumes of non-top universities started hiring a few grads from less renowned universities. Thing is, these grads are also TOSP awardees so it's still not a free-for-all thing.

Nandun pa rin yung mga job fairs and may mga nahihire pa rin before they even graduate.

A good education really helps you start off at a higher rung in the corporate ladder. However, if you are driven, competent, and have a good attitude, you will most likely climb faster than others, regardless of where you graduated from.

For me, the main issue is that he has too much entitlement and too little grit.

Much of what I want to say has been discussed in detail in the comment thread of that post. Hopefully the OP takes the well-meaning comments positively and comes out of this ordeal a better, more employable person with a less entitled outlook in life.

Yes, there are companies that are almost "Hitler" like in requesting for top 3 school candidates. Until their HR department gives up on the high turn over.

That's when she (my wife) suggests a candidate from a "lower" school.

But meron talaga engot companies na maka-demand sa qualification ng candidate con-todo, tapos ang starting salary is 25K.

    LOL.

Agree. Too much self entitlement. We recently had a job fair at UP and we were looking for interns without telling them that we offer minimum pay even for internship. Aba, ayaw ng mga damuho kesyo daw hindi Big 4 ung company namin, parents daw required na dapat Makati based or malayo daw sa bahay nila at ayaw mag-commute. Oh well, kumuha kami ng PUP and TUP at sa awa ng diyos na regular naman at may signing bonus pa.

In some ways yeah. I've interviewed some people lately for an opening in our group, and yung mga napili ko are from PUP and Letran.

Does school really matter?
