Replacement sa casa is 3-4weeks daw.

Try to inquire to other dealers if they can have it done in 1 week. Sa banawe, yung second hand na Mazda 3 bumper in good condition cost only around 2k onwards.

Pwede ba sa ipagawa sa ibang casa yung bumber? I bought the car in Mazda Alabang so I would assume sila lang ang pwedeng mag ayos ng bumper not other casa. Besides, the in-house insurance will shoulder the cost of the replacement. I will only shoulder the participation.

    To migs267,

If you opt to have your bumper done via a Mazda casa covered by your insurance policy (less deductible plus depreciation if applicable), you can have it done in any Mazada casa of your choice. Different casas may quote you different cost estimate, thus, you can select the the best that can offer at a lower cost and good workmanship.

Or another way is you can opt for cash settlement from your insurer and have the bumper replacement done somewhere else of your choice, which will yield you left -over cash on hand to buy other things, car accessories, or upgrades. Insurer will based their cash settle from the casa estimate less deductible and depreciation (if applicable based on age of the car). Good luck.

I never thought na pwede pala ang cash settlement from insurance. I'll try this one baka maka mura pa ako sa ibang casa and at the same time may sobra pang pera for other things.

PMS is done every 10km. Casas use fully synthetic oil and cost varies from 6k to 9k for a 20Km PMS . 1Km and 10Km PMS is free of charge. Other tsikoteers say you can have it done in other car care like Goodyear Servitek with cheaper cost but the warranty may be voided.

currently contemplating on which variant to buy. the S or V. yung difference ba nilang dalawa is necessary for a daily driven car like ABS and others?

    currently got a quote of:

    70K dp & 17K+ monthly for the S while 120Kdp & 18K+ for the V

ako S variant lang yung sakin...kung average kms mo is 40kms a day (or even higher)..medyo mag alangan ka sa mazda 3..matakaw sa gas..unless meron ka gas allowance sa office...

pero every 10k naman ang PMS ang babayaran mo lang is 20,000 kms checkup w/c range from 9k to 12k

The V has the following features not available in S
    1. ABS+EBD+BA
    2. Driver + Passenger Airbags
    3. Automatic A/C
    4. Black-out meters
    5. 16 inch mags
    6. 6 speakers
    7. Map lights
    8. Leather steering wheel
    9. others

Mas malaki nga lang discount sa S variant.

galing kami mazda makati yesterday to do a test drive. so far enjoy naman ako sa test drive. the SA quoted me sa m3S 90K dp all in. sabi ko yung sa isang dealer 70k lang yung dp. yung addtional 20k daw ay para sa extended service warranty na according to him for 3 years libre daw ang PMS. good deal ba ito o gamitin ko na lang yung additional for the side skirt, fog lamp and spoiler/ducktail?

Update ko lang yung bumper replacement ko from casa. I just opted to have it replace sa casa instead or cash conversion.

As per discussion with Sir Eugene and Joy (customer service Mazda Alabang). I will bring the car on Wednesday. Instead of leaving the car for 1 week to replace the bumper, they will just get or remove the fuel lid to match the paint of my car (infinity black).

Question ko lang is.. bakit it will take 3 days to mix the color and paint the new bumper with black color? It should take 1 day or 2 lang dapat. Di naman ganun siguro katagal matuyo yung paint.

Anyway, after 3 days I'll bring the car back for a WHOLE day removal of old bumper and replacement of new bumper. IMO it should take half a day lang not sure why it will take a whole day. Ang sabi the car or bumper still needs buffing.. I hope its the whole car they should buff.. para ok lang kung whole day.

Update ko lang about the bumper replacement from casa...

I brought my car in Mazda Alabang branch last Wednesday and as expected the Customer Service Joy and Sir Eugene is anticipating my arrival. Right away after my arrival Sir Eugene endorse me to Sir Joel as he was busy at that time with another customer.

Anyway, Sir Joel told me they need to remove the fuel lid cover so they can use it to match the paint of my car. I ask him if they have a sample color or template color and why not use that. He said, they need to exactly match the metallic gloss of the car and take in consideration the color change due to fading. By the way, my car is just 4 months old. I dont think they will see any sign of fading.. anyway, I said ok..

The duration of the replacement would take roughly 2-3 days. 2 days for the painting and drying of the new bumper and 1 day or almost a day to remove and install the new one.

Wait..you might think I will drive around my car without fuel lid cover. Well, I also thought about that.. but no.. they temporarily place a spare fuel lid cover (same color).

Hopefully, Ill return after 2 days.

Ano yung starting mileage ng mazda 3 nyo nung binili nyo? less than 100km ba? what's the usual starting mileage after it is transported from the plant to the stockyard then to the dealership?

And what's your preferred petrol for you mazda 3? E20, standard unleaded or premium?

    Thanks!

Still use Shell's Super Unleaded (a.k.a. regular unleaded). Di sulit high octane w.r.t. fuel consumption eh

UPDATE: I expect to return to casa in 2 days to install the new bumper but it did not happen. It took 12 days. They do not have a stock in-house and so they ordered it. That's why it took awhile.

Anyway, yesterday I brought the car back to casa at 8:30AM and left it there. I return 3:30PM. The bumper is already replaced. It took roughly 6hrs to remove and install the new bumper.

The workmanship looks Ok, there are no visible sign(s) the bumper had been replaced but I'm pretty sure the bumper is new since the location where there is visible sign of scratched and dents are no longer there.

They even manage to put a tire black wax on my wheels.

Cost of replacement of new bumper = deductible or just the participation fee. NO Depreciation Cost since my car is just 5 months old.

    Good morning.

Would anyone know if the CX-7 mags would fit Mazda 3 cars? I am looking to sell my CX7 mags set (with tires) and did some research yesterday. Someone from Australia claims it will fit M3 and M6 cars. I still can't confirm though.
