Pwedeng-pwede ang Mazda 3 2L sa practice. Mas mura syempre compared sa BMWs. Parang BMW din driving dynamics ng Mazda 3. Badge at price lang pinagkaiba. Nasa racing ang strength kasi ng Mazda 3.

I'm planning on getting the V variant by next week..meet ko yung SA this weekend and hopefully mahaggle ko yung payment down to S variant level (ang nirereason ko is luma na kasi yung model..hehe). But considering the design is already 6 years old..is it better if I go for a Vios 1.5G instead? Considering the Vios is cheaper by 100K (why is the Mazda3 so expensive anyway considering its age?) and if anyone would like to share their comments on the 1.6's acceleration I would like to hear them.

You can negotiate the price of a V variant way below the SRP of S variant depending on your haggle skills. Vios is no match with Mazda 3. The only advantage of Vios over Mazda 3 is of course less fuel consumption and cheap spare parts. When it comes to fun driving factor, and exterior and interior looks, the Mazda 3 wins. Sabi nga ng iba, kahit 24 hours a day kang mag drive ng Mazda 3, hindi ka masyado mapapagod!

Anyway, the Mazda 3 which is bulkier with only 1.6L engine is underpowered, so expect a less spirited acceleration. You can use its Activematic instead.

Good luck on your car shopping!

itong pag-haggle-haggle na ito, pwede rin ba ito sa mismong dealers ng brand new Mazda or sa used car dealerships lang? pag oo, asar!

Just came from Mazda Makati this early afternoon. Is 30.8% interest for 5 years good? Although I plan to have this restructured after 2 years. Standard Mazda freebies, no spoilers but I get back-up sensors (this is for the V variant). Also, my SA confirms that the new Mazda3 won't be launched until late next year or maybe early 2012..inuna raw yung launching ng Mazda2 hatchback and sedan at 795K and 785K respectively..10K difference.

OT: Cute nung Mazda2, medyo exact fit lang for a six-footer like me.

yes, you can haggle big discounts from some SAs of Mazda dealers

    *ArcticIce

If you already checked-out interest rates offered by Metrobank, BPI and BDO for a 5 yr. amortization period, then 30% is the lowest, you got already a good deal. I think for a car loan, it's not possible to restructure the loan because the interest rate per annum is already fixed. Nonetheless, to save from interest payments for the remaining years of your loan, you can pay the remaining principal.

By the way, what is your preferred Mazda 3 color?

My loan will be handled by BPI Family which I think has the lowest interest rate in the industry (hence the 30.8% interest I think). My first choice is the Infra Red color then match it with dark tints. Although my SA showed me the other color variants and I took a liking to the white one. It was kind of funny since the color samples he was showing me was from flooded units that are still pending for repairs in their garage..and there were dozens.

Good day mga boss, bago lang ako dito, pero I have been reading the threads these past few weeks. I just want some suggestions from you guys. I am planning to buy a new car kasi, ang choice ko is Mazda 3, at first akala ko ung binebenta na ditong 2010 model is yung naka smile. Pero nalaman ko na ung 1st generation pa din pala ung binebenta dito. Ngaun I asked the Mazda SA and according to them, sa 2012 pa daw ang dating dito nung naka smile. So I was wondering if its still a good idea to buy the current model, kasi iniisip ko, sayang naman ung pagbili ko then after 1 or 2 years, lalabas na yung bago. Pero I cant wait 1 or 2 years naman to buy a new car. So my relative suggested that I buy the Mazda 2 instead, kasi bago lng siyang labas dito. What do you guys think? Thanks in Advance!

Welcome sa tsikot. IMHO, I would consider other options or kung gusto mo talaga ng mazda then the 2 sedan is your best option if you cannot wait for the gen 2 ng mz3. Mahirap na magsisi sa huli pag bumili ka ng gen 1 ngayon and then lalabas na yung gen 2 after 1 or 2 years. May mga lalabas na din na bagong models like ford fiesta. Bottomline is nasa iyo pa rin ang decision.

Thank you sir gongrhey, actually, kino consider ko na ngaun ang mz2, honda city or toyota vios, I checked the ford website for ford fiesta, d pa pala siya na rerelease dito, siguro If I can wait pa, baka mag antay na ko, if not, baka pumili na lng ako sa tatlo. By the way, a friend of mine told me na mahirap daw ang assembly parts ng mazda, is this true ba? thanks again sir,

BTW, pag bago kasi yung tsikot mo usually worry free ito for major parts under 3 year warranty.
