ang alam ko sa V variant, di mo makikita yung mga numbers sa mga gauges unless naka-on yung accessories. unlike sa S na kita mo yung mga numbers.

I have the 2010 V variant... You cant see the red and blue backlight or illimination on the gauges unless na ka set sa "ON" yung sa lighting control ng dashboard.

I only use Shell's Super Unleaded on my sister's Mazda3 (which I drive on a daily basis). Usage of high octane gas isn't really worth it IMO

Personally, the Mazda 3 leapfrogs its peers when it comes to interior quality. Makes the base variant Lancer EX look like a Vios , comments aside, sobrang tagal ng 2010 Mazda 3 dumating dito. 2 years post-US release makes me think they're going to time it with the new Ford Focus' launch.

The question now is: Facelifted and more bang-per-buck na kaya yun M3 pagdating saatin?

Yeah, lalo na yung interior ng 2nd Gen Mazda3, two-tiered dashboard na rin(gaya-gaya sa Civic) but mas maganda IMHO sa interior ng 2012 Civic.

I think bang per buck pa rin new Mazda 3, infact yung introductory price sa US last 2010 e mas mura pa ng 100 bucks yung isang low end variant. We hope hindi nga masyado magtataas price pag available na locally M3

That's a 2.0L model, rare lang yung parts ng ganitong model pero try mo pa rin sa banawe baka maka tsamba ka.

Hi guys. I'm contemplating on buying a car para Kay misis and the Mazda 3 hatch is one of my options. Dun sa mga naka mazda 3 na for more than 2 yrs, how is the car? May mga problems na ba naencounter?

Reasons why I'm still considering the MZ3 hatch despite its old age:
    1. Still looks good inside and out. It even looks better than newer models of other brands.
    2. Since its old, usual problems encountered in new models would've already been fixed.
    3. Parts will be available
    4. Big discounts.
    5. Parang mas makapal ang kaha compared sa korean cars. Tried knocking on the body and mas solid tunog. Kaya siguro mabigat sya..

Based sa website, the hatch costs 955k. Its kinda steep considering na its just a 1.6L. Any ideas up to how much discount the dealers are willing to give?

yung discount na ibibigay ng dealer depends on whether you're going to avail of their in-house financing or bank financing.

in-house (all in promos) will give you a big discount (depending on your haggling skills) plus additional freebies like rear sensors, window visors and others.

pros - small initial cash out since inclusive sa promo yung CM and insurance
    cons - higher monthly amortization

kung bank financing naman they can only give you a fixed amount of discount like 70K and most probably the standard freebies.

    pros - lower monthly amortization
cons - higher initial cash out since you will also pay for the insurance and CM

you can also consider yung sedan, S variant, which is almost 100K less.

I am still using mine. It's turning 6yr old this week. The worst things you'd probably to deal with it has to be the engine mounts. Other than that the normal precautions when you add aftermarket stuff would proabably apply.

I really adored how the 3 looked back in 2008.. Up to now, gusto ko pa rin siyang bilhin. They just had to ruin the front with that stupid grin. No offense sa mga current owners ng bagong 3. Pero 'di ko talaga trip yung harap. I think I'll just look for a used model na 1st gen. Still love the 3 though.

Whoops. There goes the grin. lol
