Hello guys, im planning to buy a 2nd hand car. And a car i found in olx is around 300k lng pasok na pasok sa budget ko.

tanong is, okay ba un? Mazda 3 2010 1.6V since 2 air bags? 50k+ odo
Ano mga dapat tignan habang chinicheck yung car? like flood check etc. although magsama ako ng mekaniko buti na din un alam ko din hehe. any suggestion guys?

No, 1.6 Mazda 3s are thirsty and slow. If you're getting a used Mazda 3, get a 2.0 instead. Same fuel consumption, but more power and features. Roughly the same price too.

1.5 Skyactive is faster than the older 1.6 and is more efficient too. Of course, the 2.0 is still much better, but the 2.0 also costs 250k more.

If you can't afford the 2.0 Mazda 3 then you can make do with the 1.5.

That's quite pricey, unless it's a unit in very good condition. But it should be a 2.0, kung 1.6 lang, hindi sulit. Same awful FC, much less features and power.

Stuff that I've replaced for my Mazda 3:

FoMoCo oil filter - 350
FoMoCo air filter - 700
Mazda fuel filter - 450
Motorcraft iridium spark plugs - 2k
KYB front shocks - 3k each
KYB rear shocks - 1.8k each
555 stabilizer links (F) - 700 each
Mazda stabilizer links (R) - 1.2k each
Mazda surplus starter - 8k
Mazda transmission control switch - 4k
Mazda brake pads (F&R) - 4.2k
Replacement valve gasket cover - 500

Don't buy it, I sold my 2008 Mazda 3 mid variant, 40k mileage only, Casa maintained, at 300k. You can find well maintained Mazda 3 at 300k only.

hello guys, ano kaya possible problem pag may kalampag pag nalulubak? Bumili kc si hubby ng 2009 with 36k milage, masyado sya sensitive sa mga tunog. Normal po ba to? Napalitan na namin stabilizer link. Meron parin.

Buhayin natin ang thread na to.

I bought a 2006 Mazda 3 1.6V just last week.
Whenever I turn on the autoclimate every morning, I have to turn recirculating air as it would automatically choose air from outside.

I also noticed a whistling sound just today, whenever you would press the pedal from a standstill. The sound would only last for 2-3 seconds.

I have not done anything with the car except for change oil and oil filter this morning. Air filter was just cleaned.

TIA for your opinion or suggestion.

It wont happen if you put the cover of the filler back

Matagal na bang hindi napalitan yun langis, if that is indeed the case you should have flushed the old oil to soften the oil that gummed before you changed the oil

You should also inspect the bottom of the engine if its leaking oil, if not then use a thin oil (0W20, 5W20, 10W20, 0W30, 5W30 or 10W30) to reduce vibration

It is deemed that opening the aircon vent to accomodate fresh air from outside is better for ventilation rather than just recirculating air from the car cabin.

Ofcourse, in an environment with proclivity in using diesel fuel that statement doesnt hold true
