just got my m3s last dec 17 and so far i am enjoying my first 1000 km with the car. sana makuha ko yung tamang apak sa accelerator to improve the FC.

i'll be dropping by mazda makati on monday for the car's first pms.

Congrats on your new MZ3! What model did you get? Are rear spoilers, front fog lights, and sideskirts now standard in 1.6L models? I'm still seeing many MZ3s in Metro Manila roads usually without plate nos. Meaning the current model still selling good.

Mga Sir ask ko lang regarding PMS.. According to Mazda every 6 months na yung PMS. I bought my MZ3 July 2010. 2nd PMS nya this January. Confirm ko pa sa Casa kung pwede ng dalhin.

Ask ko lang kung LIBRE yung 2nd PMS? At eto ba yung ginagawa sa 2nd PMS? -

Oil change every 5KM - 6mos and 10,000Km.
- Change oil filter
- Tighten body bolts
- Fluid levels
- Belts
- Break Cleaner
- Air Filter
- A/C Filter
- Spark Plug

yung S variant ang binili namin. nagustuhan namin yung bagong kulay na chill. about the accessories, sa limited edition lang sya available (black & white colors).

Might be acquired from the gray market or maybe a test unit of Mazda Phils. No intel report yet from sir eggman or from TGP when the 2nd gen. Mazda 3 would be released locally.

Rumors predict it would be launched this March.

10K PMS should be free and spark plugs are not yet replaced. Refer to your user manual on what parts should be replaced for each PMS appointment.

According to mazda phils., they over produced the mz3 first gen. They would still have to sell at least 70% of the remaining units before they can announce the release date of the new ones. Basta madami pa daw. They are projecting the release within Q4 of 2011 or Q1 of 2012. Got the V variant last Oct. 2010. Di ko na hinantay.

Ok lang na ma late yung launch ng 2nd gen Mazda 3 dito as long as the following are realized:

1. Fitted with 1.8 or 2.0L Sky Active engines
2. Sky Active transmissions, better than dual clutch
3. I-Stop technology
4. big grin no more
5. manual variants
6. less than 50K php increase across all variants

I think possible winner na tong new gen Mazda 3, considering hindi impressive sa looks dept. yung 2012 Civic. Pwedeng makipag compete head on sa compact class leaders including the soon to be launched 2012 Ford Focus.

I have the new mazda 3 sport (with the grin face)...so far oks naman...I prefer this than the previous gen. Cabin is quieter interior is nicer. i only have the base model but still the built quality is great ganda pang pormahan. BTW.... bat niyo ginagamitan ng high octane gas ang mazda 3? nagaaksaya lang kayo ng pera regular unleaded gas (87 aka is the recommended fuel for mazda 3)

*lamborghinione -- Thanks!.. Im schedule for 10K pms. Yes it should be free. Based sa manual engine oil change and engine oil filter change lang need palitan. The others are more on inspection lang.

Question, If during inspection and they found out the part(s) (e.i. break shoes & pads) inspected need to be replaced would I pay for cost of replacement or its also included as free for 10K PMS?

ilan ang fc mo? i got mine from makati branch too last Oct. 2010. Sad to say, there have been a lot of problems:
1. FC is less than 8km/L kahit light-footed and not improving;
2. Tiny rust spots have appeared sa hood and roof na nakuha sa sandpaper, rubbing compound and buffing nila;
3. Di pantay ang tail lights na naka-attach sa body and trunk;
4. Rattling sound sa dashbord na di nila mahanap where the sound is coming from;
5. Loose gas pedal (ticking sound every time you step on it)

WTF! ang ingat ko kaya gumamit ng car.

and ang nadagdag sa problem nung first attempt to fix those issues is yung fuel guide appearing sa cd panel, from ave. of 8.5km/L (auto- computed) naging ave. 11km/L but here is the catch, kahit wala pa 1km tinakbo ng car, 2-3km na nabawas sa km remaining sa guide. Misleading na.
Nakakafrustrate ang Mazda ha.

and when the car is in reverse pag nag bback up then mag ppreno, may maingay na tunog like sa brake pad ata na maingay sort of like a softer siren noise. peor pag forward naman wala kahit anong preno. ano kaya problema dun? thanks guys

mine tinanggal ko na lahat meron pa din rattling na so irritating. ayun, naayos na din nila sa wakas for the 2nd time dinala ko nun last wed. may loose something daw or di na nasalpak ng maayos during assembly yung panel sa baba ng steering wheel.

8km/l? sobra poor ng taas kasi ang 8km/l for a 1.6L engine. i inflate my tires at 32psi. promise nakakatipid sya somehow. iwas lng sa lubak and very slow pag sa humps. city driving nmn. madza 3 is quite heavy for a compact sedan tapos front wheel drive pa. pero ok na un kesa poor ang handling and driving dynamics db? ako averaging na ako ng 10km/l sa city. basta light footed lng ako.

if under warranty pa, i would suggest na have it checked sa mazda casa. if not, baka sa brake pads na nga un. do you hear the sound when stepping on brakes in reverse?

Ganito yung black-out meter ng Mazda 3. Meaning kahit hindi naka-on headlight mo e naka-on pa rin yung instrument meters.
