if find it weird na kelangan pa bunutin ang susi at pindutin para ma-unlock ang pinto.

dapat nilagyan nun pindutan sa door handle eh.

Really? That's disappointing as the door button feature is actually quite useful. I thought same lang 6 and CX-5 doors.

Just like some BMW, you still need to insert the key in a slot sa dash before pushing start. Kind of defeats the purpose of the push start button.

*C_cube.....ang ganda talaga ng white mas sporty looking at maganda syang i-dressed up. The one reserved for me is the Aluminum Metallic, wife preferred that color coz' mas luxurious ang dating. I'm just hoping when I actually get the unit (Aug2) they'll have the white color & ma-convince ko to get that instead. But either one, excited na ako mai-uwi ito. Just wondering pangit ba talaga tunog ng horn, sa nabasa ko kc ibang forum ito rin ang ina-upgrade. Anyway ano brand ang horn na pinalit mo?

IMO ok naman ang horn nya compared to the peep-peep ng mga Camry etc. IIRC it's a single horn sa may grill na pot-pot ang tunog. Maganda lang insulation ng oto kaya parang mahina sa loob pero sa labas malakas na pala

*Parakito, can you source the OEM stalk switch with RFL and the RFL assembly (driver side)? pero kahit yun stalk switch lang pwede na. yun RFL naman malamang pwede lagyan ng bulb nalang eh

Sir C cube, sulit naman sya for me. It helps in maintaining the original carpets clean. As tothe price, yes it is definitely cheaper to get it from US. However, as this takes time and custom duties that can be imposed, hence i just got it from Mothers. BTW, should you pay cash, i believe they can give it to you at 10% off.

cx5 owners ask ko lang kung mataas ba ang ground clearance ng mga cx5 nyo,ano po yun wading dept at yun posisyon ng air intake ay nasa mataas na posisyon.compare sa mitsu asx at hyundai tucson mas reliable ba sa baha or lubak ang cx5.thanks!

Nasa itaas ang air intake ng CX5. Wading depth nya, not sure but yung dating CX5 ko nailusong ko na sa baha sa Camiling, Tarlac, up to a little more than half ng tire. Mas malalim siguro dun medyo risky na pero kaya pa.

have not driven the unit since i got it out from the dealership hehehe!

For a short drive about 12 kms, cabin is very quiet, no rattles or any disturbing sounds

Re the istop, you cant really feel that the engine stop then restart again after releasing the brake.

AC will be less cold and If you're stuck in traffic for a while, engine shall restart again even without unstepping on the brake. I guess this happens when the load is to much and needed the engine to keep the AC and electronics running.

Got this one from the CX7's thread....I'm just hoping this won't be an issue with the CX5's............

GUYS, did any of you check your tail lights recently? i noticed my CX7's tail lights partly "MELTED"!! both have a hole the size of a peso coin melted on both tail lights! I reported this to mazda makati and they're investigating it. I also noticed other CX7 on the road with partly melted lights just like mine. You can easily notice it when u turn on ur night lights. I think this is a design flaw and I told the service manager that they should recall these units since the melted plastic can easily become fire hazard.

Has anyone gotten an aftermarket HU na? Yung sa Mazda Makati na nakadisplay na unit naka 8 inch na with back up camera. Looks really good. SA told me yun yung experimental unit nila and success daw yung installation pero yung bluetooth buttons sa steering wheel di nila mapagana.
