the problem with many pinoys kasi is they are still stuck in the 90's era in terms of the car world. they still can't move on to other brands and get stuck with toyota/honda since for them "subok na". mazda is a great car and is even doing better in terms of sales compared to honda in other countries. yon ang na pansin ko kasi sa pinoy, they're afraid to try new things and don't like to change. halos lahat ng kilala ko na walang alam sa kotse eh everytime na bibili ako ng bagong kotse sasabihin sa akin "bakit di ka na lang mag toyota o honda matipid at matibay" but those who actually knows something about cars recommend other brands besides toyota and honda.

Plus one here. Look at Australia and Canada, and even Russia, Mazda is doing great (the current Mazda 3 has been number 1 in Oz for a few years now). If you think about it, "subok" din ang Mazda due to the different climate conditions in these countries. Russia and Canada cold weather, while Oz extreme heat naman. Even reviews are saying na so far Skyactiv is delivering real world fuel efficiency versus downsized turbo engines.

Good One Sir. You won't regret it. I actually prefer driving this now compared to my Montero. HIndi na ako masyadong pagod mag-drive. Not the same comparo but the decision to get this one was REALLY WORTH IT.

My dad is going on a 700+ kilometer round trip in Mindanao in the coming weeks. Kasama nya sa convoy City and Fortuner.

Only those who know cars understand why yun kinuha nya based on how he likes to drive.

So kung appliance lang kelangan mo get the well-known safe brands. I would rather get a car where the engineers rule over the bean counters

madami pa diyan sa site na yan. enjoy.

but seriously, weathertech mats are great. got one myself for the AWD and it is a lot easier to clean.

btw, Sir Parakito, any update on our orders for the mudguard? thanks.

*outer, sulit ba weathertech? nagtanong ako dito sa local distributor 6995+5995 less 5%. Sa US kasama na yun sa cargo $290 lang

    *rms
    RFL = Rear Fog Light

*Parakito, can you source the OEM stalk switch with RFL and the RFL assembly (driver side)? pero kahit yun stalk switch lang pwede na. yun RFL naman malamang pwede lagyan ng bulb nalang eh

got ours a few days ago

was waiting for a red unit but then saw one or two up close and from a distance .... decided it wasnt worth the extra cash and waiting time.

so far no regrets ... one thing i noticed though is that the engine seems noisier than normal first few seconds it is turned on.
    is this normal ?

    Nice blue!

Yep it's normal that it's louder than the usual startup. Lots of feedback from US forums about that too. It settles down after a few seconds though. Must be a Skyactiv "feature"

Automatic engine warm up. Normal lang ito to get good fuel economy. High compression kasi at nka 4-2-1 exhaust.

For new owners. just in case di nyo pa nababasa sa OM.

    Break-In Period
No special break-in is necessary, but a few
precautions in the first 1,000 km (600
miles) may add to the performance,
    economy, and life
    of your Mazda.
    1. Do not race the engine.
    2. Do not maintain one constant speed,
either slow or fast, for a long period of
    time.
    3. Do not drive constantly at full-throttle
or high engine rpm for extended
    periods of time.
    4. Avoid unnecessary hard stops.
    5. Avoid full-throttle starts.
    6. Do not tow a trailer.
