All I have read so far indicated the turbo diesel is the more powerful engine compared to the 2.5 gas so if you enjoy driving sporty and fast I think this is the engine for you. I test drove the 2.5 AWD gas and it was quick and responsive enough for me so if I end up with this I am ok. I generally drive slow and on highways I seldom go past 100 kph so the diesel might be too under utilized in my case. Per to my agent there are barely any shipments of the diesel on both CX5 and Mazda 6 so if I wait for diesel it will probably take even longer.

2014 cx5 owner here..tanung ko lang yung remote kasi problematic
a few tries bago mag unlock yung car. sometimes more than a minute parang wala lang.
once naman nag unlock na, only then the remote works like normal.
pinalitan ko na battery ganun din

anu kaya problem sirs?

Your remote key's batt terminals need cleaning. It'll be back to normal.

salamat sir. nag work na. actually more on a weak contact.
konting unat lang nung contact points.
share ko na rin na important yung pagreplace nung cover na meron rubber ring.
keeps the battery in place. pag maluwag kasi nawawala contact

The proper way to thoroughly decoke DI engines is thru walnut blasting. If there is no felt drop in engine performance, I'd skip the offered service. You'll likely be paying for placebo.[emoji4]

Just do an Italian tune up every now and then ... cheaper and more enjoyable ...

Why not? Some crossovers are better in terms of handling compared to some compact and midsize sedans.

My hands are itching to get the feel of the steering wheel... I hope my brother will have the chance to be with me this coming May 20 in CIS.

Is that so? Well, I'm just so glad for my brother. And yes, I shouldn't expect much. I just got carried away... this is a good reminder for me.

The truth is, I have been convincing my father to consider the CX-9 everytime we meet. At least, the CX-9 if not the Miata. I wanted him to experience how to drive a Miata. Although I never had the chance yet to drive it, I believe there should be a considerable difference he should feel compared to his Santa Fe and Tucson.
