I'll try to find it. Tagal na din kasi. Mga 4 years na. Generic type but so far its doing its job. I believe CTEK also has the same type.

Im really hoping they change the curves up front. I saw a blue one and it looked too curvy. This might be a good choice [emoji848]

The question is, if they are going to bring the 2.5T to the Philippine Market, since its just gonna bring the price up.
The CX5 as it is now, is not selling much in our country, probably due to competition with similarly priced but more practical PPVs. I see the current CX-9 more than the much cheaper CX-5 on the road.

If only Mazda can bring its prices down a bit more (especially the sweet diesel version!) & release the 7 seater CX-8, most likely pinoys are gonna be a bit more receptive.

And also, pull the plug on the i-stop already or give buyers option to not avail it, at least. The US market doesn't have it, i just learned.

sana nga they drop the diesel prices as it is they are quite expensive but fully loaded though. prices are not too far off top of the line thai sourced PPV but sana they could bring in other diesel variants starting at lower price points too.

When they lower their diesel variant, they will also have to lower their gas variant otherwise magkaka-overlap sa pricing.

Once the SRPs are announced, dealers don't change to lower the sticker price anymore. It's bad practice, and previous buyers would be disappointed for sure! Not unless you insert a new variant with less features and amenities.

The key is asking for the discounted price, which almost always will be present. Last I heard, at least 100k discount is offered on CX-5 AWD variants, including the diesel. Its better to wait for a year or two after launch to get these discounts.

According to my brother, he gets about 8-9 km/L. He was so happy when he got 17 km/L during highway driving.

I think this is because of SKYACTIV...

I haven't had a chance to see the interior of Nissan X-Trail so I can't compare. With the exterior design, I prefer the CX-5 2018.

Fun to drive factor, I have no doubt with the CX-5. Comparing it with Tucson and Santa Fe, I'll choose CX-5. Tucson is fast, but I haven't tried it yet like the way I drive the Mazda 6. Well, those are diesel engines so it's an unfair comparison with the CX-5.

One thing I know, a certain man named Arjo brought a CX-5 in a race track and run it like there's no tomorrow! A very capable vehicle, according to him, considering it's not a car.
