If you are planning to buy this month, better attend Philippine International Motor Show and go the Mazda booth. Forgot the exact date, but it is around the end of October. I reckon you can get more than 100k discount there especially the CX-5 AWD. It seems that CX-5 and 6 are mazda's worst-selling model (apart from mx-5 and the ageing BT-50). The Mazda 6 is being offering with 130k discount BTW.

At the end of each month is the ideal time to negotiate for cash discounts, Its beginning to be high time now since its we are nearing the end of 2018 also. Not to mention, Ford is upping the ante offering "employees discount" for a much popular SUV, the Everest, which ranges from 100-150k discount.

I'm looking to buy CX-5 myself but cannot really justify the sticker price, so im patiently waiting for discounts also.

There may be more than meets the eye here. Coming are the All-New 6 w/ a new engine shared w/ the 2019 top variant CX5.[emoji4]

Ford is simply disposing of old stocks so they can release the updated Ford Everest ... Same with Subaru Forester ...

Dashcam lang for now master. Will just enjoy it first in its stock form. Was wondering though if what max tyre profile will fit. Would have opted for an 18 incher with a thicker tyre if it was an option [emoji5]

    230 horsepers, woah!

    https://www.autoindustriya.com/auto-...iter-turbo/amp

Saddened by the impending demise of the Subaru Forester Turbo? Fear not as there's a new turbo crossover on the way, and it's not by the brand from Gunma. If you want a high performance turbocharged crossover from a mainstream manufacturer, you'll have to turn to Mazda for practical thrills.

    ....

Stats? It makes 230 PS and 420 Nm of torque, meaning it's a slightly de-tuned version of the one found in the CX-9. However, its smaller size and lighter weight should make it a bit more athletic that its larger stablemate. There are no acceleration numbers just yet but given that the CX-9 showed impressive performance, the CX-5 2.5T should be quick off the line too.

The figures also show that it's 10 PS down from the much beloved (and soon to be discontinued) Forester Turbo. But the CX-5 2.5T more than makes up for it in torque, which has a 70 Nm advantage over the Subaru. The lone transmission choice is a six-speed automatic transmission and Mazda says, despite turbocharging, the CX-5 2.5T can run on regular gas.

    Will it be sold locally?
