mga sir, matipid din ba sa gas ang cx5 maxx, ano ba pinagkaiba
Mga boss..Been looking to purchase a CUV, narrowed it down to HRV and CX5. I have some questions maybe you can help...
1. Any recommended casa to test drive CX5?Been to Makati and Sta. Rosa branches both walang CX5 units to test drive.
2. If I get CX5 Maxx, it has no fog lamps and backup sensors pala. The casa said that if I have these installed, ma vo-void daw and warranty? Anybody tried installing fog lamps and backup sensors without voiding the warranty? These are important to me so it would be a deal breaker.
I'm now thinking of getting the HRV-E instead.
Salamat mga boss..
Salamat sa reply mga boss.
CX5 din first choice ko but Maxx lang kaya ng budget and when I asked if i can have the fog lamps and the backup sensor installed sa casa the SA said I would need to sign a waiver and the electrical warranty would be void kaya nalabuan ako kasi kahit na casa installed, void pa rin daw ang warranty and wala din unit to test drive kaya ang hirap magdecide.
Hi all, CX5 is in the shortlist of our purchase for an SUV. Do you know where I could get the best discount for cash purchase? Seriously considering the 2.0 FWD Pro.
Many thanks!
Last November nag-offer lahat ng dealership ng 50k discount pero sa CX-5 Maxx. Before that the best offer for a 2.0 FWD Pro was from Alabang worth 30k discount. I decided to get CX-5 Maxx and was able to negotiate another 10k discount on top of 50k with all other usual freebies + TPL (I got my compre insurance from outside casa).
Hi!
Is it possible to order the 19" rims of the 2.5 AWD from the casa? Thanks!![]()
Mazda Recalls 404,000 CX-5 SUVs For Fire Risk | CarComplaints.com
How true? Does this apply to the PH variants?
MAZDA RECALLS 404,000 CX-5 SUVS FOR FIRE RISKMazda CX-5 recalled to repair fuel filler pipes that can break and cause a fire in a rear-end crash.

FEBRUARY 1, 2016*— Mazda is recalling over 404,000 CX-5 SUVs that could leak gas and catch on fire in a rear impact. Mazda says the 2014-2016 CX-5 has a fuel filler pipe that may rupture if the SUV is hit from behind, possibly causing a gas leak and fire.
About 264,463 SUVs are affected in the U.S. and the remaining vehicles are in Canada.
Mazda says it's unaware of any CX-5 accidents or injuries related to the defect, but the automaker says the problem is a serious concern. Therefore, until repairs are made to the fuel system, dealers will offer a free loaner, demo or rental vehicle to CX-5 owners.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration hasn't released additional details and Mazda hasn't said how the SUVs will be repaired.
But isnt it the design of the fuel line is the same? Then the risk of getting raptured during a rear end hit is still possible.

Read in another forum that the "fix" involves :
Ref ********RECALL********Just got back from the dealership in Fort Lauderdale they replace the bolt that holds the bracket for the filler tube they replaced it with a shorter bolt the original one supposedly was too long.
So if the bolts used in PH version has the short bolt then we are hopefully all good ;)
I am assuming Berjaya is not that stingy that a simple bolt replacement would be taken for granted
Do we have Mazda CX5 PH Club members here?
I understand that the officers of the club did some general member cleaning on their FB page last week. The officers imposed a policy to post your CX5 picture and register on the list - this is to filter the legit owners.
I complied the requirement and I was kicked out today to my surprise. :-) The Mazda CX5 FB page was converted to Secret Group, thus I can no longer find them.
Well well... Hope this can be fixed soon.
