Manual says to use 91RON (minimum). But thinking of loading it with 95. I am willing to pay more if it has substantial benefit both in terms of performance and maintenance (?).

    Driving half city, half highway.

CX-5 experts, what would you suggest?

    Thanks!
    Stay the recommended Shell FuelSave.

The SkyActiv engine even though high compression has been designed to run on low 91RON with no knocking.

For CX-5 owners with auto-stop, how long did it take before you had to replace the car battery?

Mine (2.5 AWD) was less then 1.5 years when the battery error light started appearing and i-stop no longer worked.

Finally replaced the battery (12k sa casa) and the the CX-5 worked normally again

Parang the stock battery never lasts as long as new ones... probably because the units sit a few months on the lot before actual delivery to end-user? That said, parang hindi sulit yung fuel savings vs the cost of a new battery. =/

Sir speed_kills, my battery also needs replacement na after 2 years. Which casa gave you 12k for the battery. I asked MAZDA Q.Ave and Greenhills and both gave me a price of 14.5k. What brand was the replacement battery? Motolite? Was there any programming charges coz they said they had to reprogram the unit. TIA for your help. :-)
