Thanks for that info sir. I'm planning to get 4x2 instead and just use the extra cash to buy a 19" rim instead. Do you think that's a better option? or going for the AWD would be better bang for the buck? Regarding the headlights that I not know of. If you do find one let me know as well.Btw Merry Christmas to all!
I would say go for AWD if money is not an issue. Besides, most of the owners say that the 2.5 engine has little to no difference compared to 2.0 when it comes to fuel consumption. You can get more power without compromising performance. Also, those stock 19" look good already so you won't have to worry about the looks of your shoes. Also, your CX5 will really stand out if you have those DRLs. That's just me though. I'm happy with my 2.0 variant. Maybe I'm just nitpicking here

You are from davao too sir? My mom is getting the soul red 2.5 awd sport. She made a reservation already. I hope i did recommend her the best car that suits for her. She only wants the 2.0 but the difference for the 2.5 is way better..
Wow your mom doesn't have bad taste at all. Soul red also looks great! When did she have her reservation? I asked Mazda ETA is around end of January if you reserve this month. So I am still a bit hesitant to commit as it's nearing the end of first quarter and the later models might be out soon as the 2016 model will be released early January in US.
By the way anyone having the same melted tail light problem with CX-7? http://tsikot.com/forums/mazda-cars-...zda-cx7-94039/
And i bet she does, considering 50% payment comes from me. Meron available unit coming end of december. As promised, before january 5 daw release ng unit or earlier. Na delay lang kasi long holiday eh.
A 2.5 engine variant of Mazda CX-5 will not be of any real benefit if you only drive 30-40 kph maximum speed.
got mine early this week! very happy although minor complaints are
1. no central door lock button
2. pressing the horn is a chore
3. steering wheel is too slick/slippery for me... no grip in it
i think they should revisit the choice of material to address 3..
but as i said... im very happy with it! very little learning curve as ive been driving sedans exclusively..
Kumusta po mga bossing. I hope everyone had a nice Christmas. Mine was very exciting. I've got a new cx5 as a gift to myself for being nice this year. Hahaha.
Mga bossing tanong ko lang--thus might sound like a very stupid question to some, so please pardon me. I had an incident today. While at the parking lot, i cant seem to get the car moving:
1. Steering wheel is locked
2. Check engine light is on. Battery warning is on.
3. Aircon and audio is running after pressing start button.
4. Hand break is released and yet i cant get it moving forward or reverse upon releasing the break pedal gently until fully released.
I finally got it moving after a number of restarts. Not sure if it was because of the temperature (open parking) or if it was the way i was starting the car. I think it was the later but i really cant remember if im doing something wrong. TIA
You're doing something wrong. Press the brake pedal before you push the engine start button.
Congrats on your new rides![]()
thanks JohnM!
I really think it was a user error bit i really cant identify what is it that I was doing. It happened twice from 2 different parking lots, but didn't happened the the third parking lot, so i was thinking that I was the problem rather than the car. I'll test your suggestion tomorrow and see if your hunch on this is correct.
