At slow speeds... Below 50kph dahil sa traffic... Just slowly turning onto small roads feels as if the rear will overshoot. I even had a companion check if my rear wheels were turning kasi feels parang hinihila nalang sila... Like a sled

I think one way to verify is to have another Mown3r or a mechanic from the Mazda dealership do a test drive on your car.

At high speed (more than 100kph), I sometimes feel the lack of steering/front wheel feel on the 1st gen M3. This is more evident when driving on dry concrete roads (no asphalt).

But the stock tires (Dunlop) seems to be good enough already (except for the road noise).

What tire brand are you using now?

Try pushing your BN....Totally different. Electric Power Steering has been tuned for twisties.... & 6.5° of caster angle is double that of gen1's to mimic the steering resistance of RWD RX8s & MX5s.

tire pressure or tire wear on the rear is not good. i check rear tire wear several feet away. front tire wear by steering right and inching forward. possibly bad rear dampers. did you recently maxed out on payload?

Steering is heavy on high speed (more than 100kph). You'll be confident even at 200kph. You can take off your hands and the m3 stays on the lane. I knew someone who did 200kph at TPLex. Haha

Still confused.. lol. So what is really the PSI? Mine are Turanza Bridgestones for my M3 1.5v.. our SA advised me to have them all at 30 both front and rear due to our road conditions but i’m reading here 35 and 36 are more ideal.

For the low profile R18 wheels, 36psi is the recommended. For R16 like in your case, I'd use 33psi for a softer ride.

33psi this is if only me and a companion? And if we’re like 3 or more, bump it to 35psi?

Yup I think that should be fine. Beyond 36psi is likely going to give a very bumpy ride.

What is really the recommended PSI... check the sticker on frame of the car on the driver's side...

You can overinflate / underinflate a little but don't stray too much... lalo sa underinflation.

Do not underinflate too much. For me, 30 is super inflated in a Mazda 3. 33 is ok if only you (driver) is on board. With 3 to 5 on board with cargo and on full tank gas, you can have 36/37/38front and 37/38/39rear. +1 or +2 on rear tires.

Sticker on mine says 36psi if only 1 to 2 passengers and up to 41psi if fully loaded. That's for all wheels

I dropped by Mazda North EDSA today and 2 mechanics obliged me with a road test even if I didn't have a schedule... I felt the same gliding sensation while seated on the passenger seat... But both mechanics said they didn't notice anything amiss...

They went the extra mile and checked the underchasis of the vehicle at the casa and didn't find anythig wrong... I still can't believe that they didn't feel anything wrong... Baka ako ang kelangan ng checkup [emoji19]

Hi sir, i suggest that you request for a test drive. In that way you’ll be able to feel if there’s a difference between driving your car and the test drive unit.

After watching this video, I said to myself I will never use old cars again:

And with newer cars like the 3rd gen Mazda3, there's this confidence that you have better chances of surviving a severe side overlap crash:

How old is "old"? I don't want to sell my CR-V 98 but my brother insist on selling it. I'd like to drive that old CR-V from time to time... so it's no longer safe?

I admit it's quite scary... and good thing that this old CR-V is equipped with SRS, unlike that 98 model car.

My old man still owns a 1998 CRV. Still in good condition at 150T km. Yes it's equipped with frontal airbags but no side curtain airbags. There's not much enough data that would show how safe these old cars. To give you an idea, here's the safety rating of the 1st gen CRV. Compare that with the latest CRV or with the Mazda CX-5 (which I'm recommending to my old man as replacement to his aging suv) :
