Here's the product he bought from Lazada:

36deg Universal Stick On Dashboard Car Mount Holder Cradle For Phone - intl | Lazada PH

It's similar to the Scosche MagicMount I have for another hatch:

Any recommendations on how to remove tiny specks of paint on the M3?

Purchased Formula 1 Scratch Out Paste Polishing Compound from Concorde but afraid it might make things worse.

It used to be in good supply at Digital Walker shops last year (before the anti distraction law was put in place) but nowadays only overpriced items are available at Lazada.

₱995 with the swivel mount (same as amazon link). The fix mount I'm currently using at the new M3 was ₱700.

    Try using a clay bar.

But with Mazda's notoriously thin paint I'd prefer having a pro deal with it.

Hi sir Travs, I got one for my wife’s Innova. You can loosen it to find an angle that suits you (up, down, right, left) then tighten it to put it in place.

Pretty much every new cars nowadays have thin paint. This is mainly due to paint regulations for environmental protection policies.

Is the paint thin on Mazda cars? : mazda

Could this be the reason that I have a lot of sized like sand paint chips? This car is only one month old.

I think so. Another reason would be those small rubbish flying out from the rear tires of bigger vehicles. I always stay 2 cars behind from these vehicles. Another way to prevent these paint damages is to have a clear bra/film protection installed. It's very expensive though:

Yes, those trucks and sometimes those without covers. Staying away behind them won't do good for me... I need to go past them. That means I have to live with it.

I better save for a new paint job five years from now. I hope Mazda offers paint promo like Honda

Try keeping the original finish the longest you can. No repaint can equal it. Many commented our 22year old (never been resprayed) can still hold its own vs recently professionally repainted contemporaries. That's how good factory finishes are.
I'm all for protection but I honestly can't find sense in opting for 1 that costs close to (or worse...more than) what they're supposed to protect.[emoji4]

So you're saying that those guys from casa won't be able to do the paint job I'm expecting? That's sad news for me... I have a dent and visible scratch that I wanted them to repair. I find it embarrassing that with a lot of years of driving experience, I got this dent and then a scratch on separate accounts. My only excuse is that I got used to the likes of CR-V, L300, and others. Another thing, I forgot to compensate for the extra length of this car that I made another scratch on the rim while I was going through the circular ramp on SM parking lot. Lots of excuses...

Good thing this didn't happen during my younger years when I was "stealing" my mother's car.
