I just came from a midnight drive CAMANAVA area and I felt like I was ice skating all throughout except that I can't prove it pero iba talaga ang feeling...

I'm thinking it may have something to do with the car seat? Although I don't know what...

Like sir Walter said....What are your tire pressures on all 4? GVC can hardly be felt unless you drove 1 w/ none for comparison. To think the 3 is 1 that has the least understeer.

No lit up icon on the panel so I assume they're on

Hehe it really feels that way. Parang gliding lang over the road. Walang friction

Eco tires won't have performance tire grip, though. They're there for FC.

I did last night. They're all good... Hindi kaya something with the suspension? Aside from the wheels, sila yung next when it comes to feeling the road

Does your M3 still using the stock tires (Dunlop)? What's the tire pressure?

Have your toe & camber checked. If you want adjustability for correction & tuning on the latter, grab a pair of Camber Bolts like many of us. Spring/damping rates & ride height affect response, feedback & braking, too. Hence, those looking to improve performance tweak those.

Or perhaps the feel on the steering wheel is too light for you? I find the M3's steering wheel light compared to the older sedans I use during number coding days(ford fiesta and 1st gen M3). It feels like there is no power steering with the older sedan.

^True this! One of the reasons I opted for a smaller diameter wheel.[emoji4]

And at high speeds (100kph or more) with R18 wheels, I reckon the feel on the steering wheel would be really light. I still have to verify this on my upcoming northern trip. I haven't driven the M3 more than 80kph due to the horrific road conditions here at Metro Manila [emoji16]

Yes still stock tires... 36 as per the sticker on the door... I'm usually the only one in the car

Thank you. I have no idea about that yet but I'll read on that

Sa internet the closest description I could get is hydrofloating sensation... This doesn't make sense talaga

I'm guessing your M3 uses R16 wheels? The tire pressure sticker at the door panel of the M3 R spec recommends 35/33 psi at the front/rear tires for light load.

At what speed do you feel that lack of steering feel on the M3?

Steering is the same and as responsive as before but I have to double check that the car is actually responding to steering wheel input (which it does) because I just feel as if I'm gliding...

Pero I haven't changed tires and road isn't wet... Treads are still thick and far from being worn out. Puro city driving most of the time. I'm beginning to think na psychological ito kasi it's all subjective and I really can't find anything objectively wrong... I mean how can the suspension get better suddenly... Dapat nagiging mas matagtag slowly overtime

Is it hydroplaning even on dry road (which is something that shouldn't happen)?

I know haha! It feels that way just without the water... Yung sensation that when you change lanes even at slow speeds your rear might overshoot (which it doesn't) or yung feeling na when you take that curve you'll skid to the outer corner (which it doesn't) but it really feels as if I'm driving on ice or floating...
