For those with leather seats and trims, what do you use to clean and condition these? I'm currently using Turtle Wax leather cleaner but I find this product unsatisfactory.

19s won't make your car handle load any differently from stock wheels. You'll even gain a tad more ground clearance if you were on 225/40s like mine. Sidewall of 90mm while stock 18s are 96.75mm. The ride isn't much different from stock. A tad stiffer, but sidewall stiffness can vary w/ tire choice. Great out in the wide open & fun twisties. The wider width provides a bit more grip. I've 2 sets. A lighter aftermarket summer set & the currently-on, easier to clean wet season OE wheels. I'm accustomed to having sport-tuned suspensions & would instinctively drive a bit more defensively over rough patches & potholes.....19s might be the reason the 3's suspension still feels like new.[emoji4]
For anyone planning 19s, don't stay too far off OE outside tire diameter to keep your speedo close. To avoid rub, stay 8.5" under on width & +45 higher on offset. Search for lighter sets to skirt the unsprung mass penalty. There are plenty out there that are lighter than stock 18s.

My worry is about the vulcanizing shop if ever... I'll check one day with the shop in Bataan and Bulacan where I usually have my CR-V's tire patched up.

Professional shop like servitek... and that was the one mentioned earlier. My worry now is that if ever I'm out in unfamiliar road.

Let's say that jojopad, Nelson de Leon and I decided to say hi to you personally. Of course, we bring the 3, the 6, and the 5. So that means say that we are definitely out in unfamiliar road going to your place... and that "thing" happened.

I'm not sure if this is good for your TPMS. I don't think I have one, I don't remember reading it in the Owner's Manual so it may not be a problem for me. If ever I really don't have this TPMS, it doesn't concern me since I regularly check my tire pressures.

Tire sealants or slime are convenient but should only be used during times of emergency to get one to the tire repair shop....Do not use this as flat tire prevention. On seldom used cars, the sealant can pool at the bottom & affect the balance. It can ruin sensors, too.
Unworthy & humbled by your idea, Archerfish sir, but if all of us were to meet in my neckodawoods, you won't have to worry about the discussion we have here. Local to me are adept techs I personally trust & the best balancer equipment around...Hunter RoadForce.[emoji4]

Wonder why Mazda switched back to direct valve TPMS that isn't paired w/ absolute pressure display. The US BM3s had the indirect wheel speed sensor TPMS which was more economical & durable for practically the same function.
Added hardware=added cost when they go. Plus, not all aftermarket wheels can take em w/o adapters.[emoji53]

The local CX-5 doesn't have direct valve TPMS. The computer simply takes cue from the revolutions of the tire or the ABS sensor. I'm not sure which. A very soft tire = lower revolution.

Multiple roro logs... I thought two will do. And so I was informed by Honda, a few years ago when I was looking at CRZ, that model doesn't have a spare tire but instead a tire sealant. That is to be used only to patch the hole temporarily and to bring your car to the nearest vulcanizing shop.

Some models lose the spare for perceived convenience, safety, space & weight shaving. They pass the cost onto the owner those pricey Runflats that ride so harsh, they shorten suspension life....Don't you wonder if that bright idea was really hatched for 1 thing & 1 thing alone? Their job security? [emoji53]

The Mazda Miata or MX5 doesn't have a spare tire. One owner I met at the casa bought his own donut spare tire for peace of mind.

- It is a bit of a hassle if the door lock isnt illuminated but will learn to adjust the window switch illumination mod looks really interesting, but im not really competent when it comes to diy stuff hehe. it's good to know it is possible

- gonna start using shell fuelsave from this point moving forward

- the strong exhaust smell is no longer there, made a reply to update my statement but it takes some time to approve since i only have a few posts under my belt. i think it was probably a break-in smell or because it was due to the fuel tank close to empty when we got the car and took some time for us to reach a shell station.

- the car was shaking despite i-stop being turned off, probably again because of above reason. glad to inform that it is no longer observable after driving the m3 the next day

- yup actually already purchased the plate relocator from sir travs before the car was released. installed without any problems and really does make the car even more eye catching. i was talking about the door scuff plates, had the chance to look at it more closely and it seems to have double sided tape for an easy install but will just coordinate with the dealer so that they would be installed correctly.

on another note, what car covers are you guys using? bought a fuzion hatchback L cover from blade auto and it's pretty good but not exactly a perfect fit.
