    Hardwire by the fusebox?[emoji4]
If you've had no trouble w/ your current fuel, stick w/ it. Prior to identifying Shell as preferred, Mazda sample tested all available brands & did checks from random pumps of each. There's more to it than just commerce.....Quality control down to the pumps. Way before I had the 3, had a few mysterious cases of bad fuel & switched to Shell....never had problems since. I always fill up at our neighborhood branch whenever I can...Kinda OCD, I know, but not switching nor fixing what ain't broke.[emoji4]
Just to be clear, bad fuel can happen regardless of brand....& it can cause CELs...I'd stick with the recommended to give Mazda 1 excuse or reason less.....should it happen.

Problem meaning there is a lack of cigarette lighter plug? My dashcam is USB powered. But if yours is cigarette plug, you can simply use a cigarette outlet extension to add another outlet. I heard hardwiring the dashcam will void the warranty.

Yesterday I filled up with Euro 5 diesel. It's supposedly 5x lesser sulphur hence perhaps cleaner fuel, lesser DPF contaminants.

Agree, good sir.....The fuel from the refinery is good as labeled...but those stories from years back of stations mixing sources & poor maintenance still haunt me. I gave up my faith & fleetcard of that you might be referring to when I had those cases of "indigestion". I hope their policing has gotten better.[emoji4]

I availed of 3M tint from the casa. In my previous cars (which were second hand), had them installed with solarguard (or was it sunguard?) tint. The tint shop then had a demo where there was a box with a bulb on top. There were glass panels with different brands of tint. You could then place your hand underneath to see which blocked the heat more. 3m fared less, but not that much.

Problem meaning you have no more cigarette ports? Just have it hardwired.

For the fuel, been using Petron since our company issues gas POs from them. So far haven't encountered check engine. Probably just stick to recommended RON. Btw, when I got my unit, they gave me a gas voucher from Caltex.

Had ours done by the dealer. Been using 3M since before for our other cars and been happy with it naman. I asked for medium all around but think they installed dark. Front is much darker than the medium tint installed in our mirage and montero previously. Getting used to it pa. Didnt want to change muna since it actually looks good.

Installation-wise, parang ok naman though I just noticed a small bubble (as big as a rice grain) in the front windshield.

What exactly is the problem sir? Just installed a transcend 230 and hid the wires sa sill and under the passenger seat then plugged it in the center console. Ok naman. Issue lang is I don't have a another cigarette socket anymore for my phones although I now attach it directly to the usb slots instead.

On fuel, currently using Caltex Platinum since I liked its performance in our mirage previously. But will try silver next time to see if may difference.

Thanks for all the replies. Good to know that others are not encountering problems by using other petrol brands.
I have a friend who works for Shell and told him (this was 5-7 yrs ago) whats the difference between their fuel and the other brands because I noticed my FC goes down when not using shell. He just laughed and told me it was the "additives" that made a difference. I dont even know what that means.

Mazda recommends the 91 octane Shell FuelSave. Using Shell V-Power would probably be better with keeping the carbon deposits at a minimum?

Just got my car a few days ago!

I specifically asked my SA not to drill holes into my grilles for the plate. My plate fell off on day 1 and I found out it was attached using double sided tape only. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Can I avail your plate relocator already sir Travs? It's not an actual plate yet, just a cardboard one from the dealer.

My car is also a bit dirty inside and out. I had it stored at the dealer for a few weeks. Any recommended cleaning tools? Or should I just take it somewhere to have it detailed? There is also a small round sticker mark on my windshiled and it's bothering me! Will Goo Gone work?

I did not get the SD card as promised. Maybe on my first 1k it will be available

I had mine tinted at the casa. I am impressed with the way it was done. I am yet to see any gaps.

Good they didn't drill the grill. I had to have mine replaced before accepting the unit since they drilled ours even if I instructed them otherwise.

They only use double-sided tape if no drill or use sir travs relocator na. Had mine installed when I got our unit.

Did you get the 1.5v? I got the SD card but navi doesn't work. Will have to have it checked when we go back for our 1st 1k or 1mo.

Don't worry about that temporary plate. Good they did not drill....The No-Drill Plate Relocator will solve your concern. Just PM for details.
Goo Gone should work....Call Technical Details +639177372958. Ian is a Mown3r....one can't be any more familiar in caring for the 3.

Just sharing my recent purchases. Cargo mat (Php2k) and floor mat (Php3.5k) c/o clifford body kits.

Cargo mat is nice. Good quality and easy to clean.

Floor mats are soft cushy rubber. Fits nicely in front but the rear set is a bit off on the right side.

Also showing my install of the transcend 230.
