I'm really using Shell. I'm just testing if there is a big difference between the two.
Also, on the times ive used Petron, its because my "Suki" Shell station is far and under heavy traffic.![]()

The owner claimed he got around 17 to 18 km per liter on a highway drive to Baguio. The highest FC I got along the expressway was only 15 km per liter, and the M3 was driven with cruise control set at 100kph only. I'm curious how the owner interviewed in the video was able to get that impressive FC.
The owner also talked about the excellent steering control and handling of the M3. He was able to tackle the curves along Kennon road at 60kph with confidence that the M3 can handle it. I can say based on my anecdotal experience that this is absolutely tru! My kids didn't feel any body roll when I drove the M3 hard on Marcos highway's uphill curves. All the while I taught I was driving the M3 in sport mode but to my surprise the normal transmission mode is smart enough to keep the right gear.
The only feature that I find mediocre in the M3 is the infotainment and sound system. I think the Honda Civic is better on these. After the 3 year warranty, I'm looking forward to have the M3 sound system upgraded at Mickey's Autosound.
With the rising fuel cost, it's tempting to drive our cars until the fuel tank is near empty. This owner learned the hard way.
Always keep the fuel tank above the 1/4 level.
Why you shouldn’t drive your car on low fuel | Visor PH
Do note that symptoms of a failing pump may go unnoticed for a long time, and it would really suck if you get stranded on a dark highway in the middle of the night when it finally conks out on you. To give you an idea, the replacement for a fuel pump in my 2015 Mazda 3 costs P21,000 (labor not included). That is no joke.
Make it a rule to never go below the last-quarter marker on your fuel gauge, and you’ll never have to deal with expensive repairs and replacement due to neglect or ignorance. In addition, running on low fuel levels may introduce debristhat has accumulated at the tank’s bottom into the fuel delivery system, causing premature filter replacement and possible clogging.
Fuel is the pump's lube & coolant. Jeopardizing the intank pump will risk the more complex HighPressureFuelPump up in the engine bay, too. Avoid the double whammy....don't run on empty.

Guys, do you have any recommendations on good floor mats for the Mazda 3? 2018 1.5V here, and I currently have some transparent floor mats, but I wanted to upgrade it to something that would fit better with the M3 and make it easier to clean. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
Here are my custom cut nomad immitation floor mats (black color):
Driver side

Front passenger side
photo sharing websites
Rear floor (3 piece)
The center piece mat for the rear was a challenge to cut because there's no floor mat in the M3 that I can use as a guide. Luckily I have an old floor center rear mat from another car that was good enough to be used as a guide for cutting the nomad mat.
To ensure that the mats will fit nicely up to the edges of the floor, cut the nomad mat a bit bigger than the OEM floor mats then cut the excess for a perfect fit on the floor.
what do you guys think about sa grill na to?

Me? Unless something on the stock is really bothersome or if it's out of practical necessity(ie damage replacement), I'd save the moolah for vital mods or matters. Been that road w/ a few regretful episodes in my juvenile years. Time has almost always proven the novelty of hobo non-OE replacements would wear off.
My mod approach has always been for reversibility & for the OEM+ look. If you must, from boredom or lust, keep your stock grille for that time when the itch to switch comes.
Again, just my 2cents....pardon my opinion, I'm eccentrically wired.[emoji4]

Care to share how you installed the OE sharksfin antenna?

You'll have to drop the rear part of your headliner by pulling the top weatherstrip off the boot, dropping the headliner clips & dislodging partially the 2 C-pillars if you don't want any perma-crease when you reach your hand between the roof & the liner to loosen the stubby antenna base nut & unplug the wire terminals. Find someone w/ Trump hands to do this. Small, better.
Pull the stubby base up, replace the fin, handtighten the nut securely, plug the fin harness & do everything in reverse order.
Wish I had taken pics & created a visual how-to. Apologies, sir.[emoji17]

*Sir Travs, the fin have a rubber base, but to really prevent a leak, did you put a 3M double sided tape?
