    Whoah!!!! Grats!!!! Awesome!!!! few tips....
-Just drive...don't bother hiding the grin, people will understand.
-Park in single slots between posts or as far away from other cars & shopping carts. Sorta like this...
The 1st dings are the most painful.
-Look back as many times as you can or walk backwards as the view of the car gets smaller. You're not crazy. It's normal.
-Coffee & eats are best enjoyed w/ your car in sight.
    -Get a Microtex duster.
-Don't let the gas tank go lower than 1/4...fuel is your fuel pump's coolant.
-Top up coolant only w/ Mazda FL22 or Absolute distilled water, not vodka.
-Check your tires & fluids prior to long trips.
-Grab a jump starter kit. You won't wanna be stranded when the batt dies. It's better than a booster cable. Charge it before every long trip or 2x a year. This is a good 1 to get from Amazon.
You can charge phones & laptops on this, too.
-Grab a portable pump for slow punctures. OMP is a good brand...Blade has them. This will allow you to get to a shop w/o tire-damage risk.
-Read & memorize everything in the manual like you're taking the board exams. Good car care will help you enjoy your car longer.
-Develop OCD. No eating & farting in the car. This will prolong the new car scent.
-If you've sweaty hands, wear gloves instead of wrapping your leather wheel. Let your hands stink, never the wheel.
-Mod right the 1st time...this is how you save. Learn from & laugh silently at those you find funny. It's a thin line between race & rice. Don't go overboard. Balance form & function...let the latter rule..& everything must be REVERSIBLE. Boredom visits can be unpredictable.
    -When in doubt....ASK....Tsikoteers & Mown3rs are a helpful bunch....
There's way more, but I'll let others chime in....
    Grats....Happy Motorin'!!!![emoji4]

    More newb tips?

    -Many tint for 2 reasons:
privacy & lowering cabin heat.....but the 3's AC is more than able....& notice w/ the 3, people will look at you like you're some celebrity. Eventually you'll realize it's the car they stare at...So tint, if you like. I did not coz the car goes on long drives, night & day...max visibility is appreciated & VKool VK70 is too high for hobo's shallow pocket.

-Vows are made to be broken....I've heard "this will remain stock" sooo many times. It's a lie...don't believe yourself.

-Listen to this guy...Idolize him, buy & do everything he does here...his Ammo products are great.
Best Carwash Technique: 15 Steps + Tools - YouTube
The 3 will make carwashing a fun chore you'd look forward to.
-After learning to DIYwash, be surprised not if you'll think small shallow mud puddles big oceans, & develop new reactive instincts unfamiliar to you. At the sight of these puddles, you might suddenly want to stop w/o regard for traffic, skirt around it, tiptoe thru it or make a U-turn if possible. It's normal. Choose the safest option.... The splashes you make on yourself will be milder than those from oncoming or passing traffic.
-Memorize every pothole, every deep manhole your usual routes have. It'll sharpen your mind & your 3 will thank you for it.
-You'll imagine the 3 a premium, a Bimmer or an Audi. Keep it to yourself. It's unfair you got 1 w/o paying triple.
-On mod budget, 20% of any car's price tag is a good ceiling. If you're spending beyond half you paid for the car, stop. That's too much coz the 3 doesn't need much.

Let me pause here...Others, please add to the requested newb tips.[emoji4]

How about a recommended floor liner? I'm musing on this:

Any idea where I can get this promptly fixed? I don't have the luxury of time as I can only get the car for repair on weekends (I am a Surgical resident on perpetual duty) and am only situated in Manila area.

Car got sideswiped by a counterflowing, speeding jeep who got away with the deed. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

If you want the areas repainted and done well you're looking for about a minimum of a week downtime sir.

Manila area as in City of Manila?

I can do with a week downtime. Do you have an idea how much it would cost?

Sampaloc/UST area, to be specific. I can go as far as QC and outskirts of San Juan/Makati but nowhere near the likes of Marikina, Paranaque, etc
    . Thank you

Ohhhh, dayummmm. Sorry to see this. You do have comprehensive insurance, right? Discuss w/ em & your dealership on estimates & processing. If you need the car, you may have the bumper removed. Use while awaiting parts needed, bumper replaced/repaired & repainted. Have em sched you for button up once everything is ready. This will shorten your combined downtime to a few days. I'd be comfier w/ this than leaving it in the dealership for weeks.
Just avoid staring to lessen the pain. First blows are always the most painful. It's not that bad....As to the guy who hit & ran? Leave him to the Boss upstairs.

Thank you sir. I do have comprehensive insurance. Dealership just gave me the requirements for claiming of insurance and I don't think I'll be able to comply with them given by perpetual duty schedule. I also don't have anybody who I can delegate this tedious task to since my family is in the province. For now I am just looking for options that that suits my timeframe.

I agree. The first few nights are the worst. I am now just desensitizing myself by looking at it over and over again to lessen the stress.

Let the fingers do the walking? Call your insurance agent or ask the dealership for assistance, perhaps? It's just paperwork they need. Claiming OD shouldn't require any police report. There must be a way....

They do require a police report. I think I'll call the insurance agent first if they can be of help. BTW sir if you have an idea how much it would cost to get this fixed outside the dealership? I am also considering that, just to avoid the hassling paperwork.

The fog cover shouldn't be much if the lamp & signal indicator are intact. Retouching the whole bumper....a wild guess would be at least 5k depending on the indie shop. You might looking at 15ish area. For bumper replacement, that's north of 20 for that itself. Oh, I just saw some fender damage, that should need some PDR to skip filling & torch-work prior to retouch. Talk to your insurance on claiming OD instead? It shouldn't really be that much of a hassle. Wish I could be of more help, doc.

You can tell them you scraped a post ... the requirement would just be an affidavit ... which is easier to get ...

If I’m not mistaken, if pagawa mo sa labas, per panel would cost around 3.5k to 4k. It looks like 3 panels na damage sayo (bumper, fender, & door).

Grab the nut w/ it. Antenna nut:BAN666A3Z. Mazda uses 2 or 3 different threads, but that nut fits that fin you showed.
