Well mine, I think, is not normal. I'll have it checked next week.

My OCD has always dictated me to fill up at pumps I've had luck with. The discussion w/ jut in the previous page simply validates my paranoia. I've been obedient to factory fuel brand preference & ours have all been faithful workhorses. Praying not to jinx it.

You can be safe until ground clearance of 155mm for our Mazda3. The wading depth is not specified in any specs but knowing it I still do not want to try it. Our Mazda3 is not amphibian type 😊

Is 155mm the ground clearance of the 1.5 or 2.0?

The last thing on your mind when you lay eyes on the 2014 3. Mazda has combined elements of the 6 sedan and CX-5 SUV to create a handsome and elegant compact. Notable cues are a relatively long nose and an upright windshield. The proportions are closer to those of a rear-drive car than of the cab-forward designs worn by the Hyundai Elantra and Honda Civic. Even the sedan looks fantastic, which is something that cannot be said of most compacts, including the Ford Focus. That new body is also quite aerodynamic according to Mazda, but the major boost in fuel economy comes from the 2.0-liter and 2.5-liter four-cylinder engines.

Guys.. Have you noticed that "click" pag sinagad nyo yung gas pedal? Normal lang ba
yung burning smell pag pinaabot nyo dun yung apak? Parang amoy sunog na rubber. Experienced it several times sa SLEX.

as travajante says, it looks like an exhaust tube flange.
and it's something normally seen in exhaust systems.

it would be more complicated, if the manufacturer would make an exhaust tube the length of the entire system, with all the bends and forks. so, to make it easier to manufacture and to repair, the system is made of several segments connected by flanges, one of which is what you encircled.
also, i think the exhaust system lasts longer with the flange system, as it gives the tubings a certain amount of "give".

was this an honest question? i thought it was a trick or something, hence the "sirit" .

ganyan nga po. designed for tanggalation nga po.
but don't worry. hindi siya matatanggal nang ganun-ganun lang. matibay po yan. minsan nga, sira't butas-butas na yung ibang parte ng tubo, ok pa yang flange.
    i-google nyo.

Those 2 flange bolts & the exhaust hangers are holding your axleback. Here's a pic of the popular bolt-on axleback for the 3hb.
