    Thanks sir for the inputs.
Ideally you should get all of the intake and exhaust mods done before if not at the same time as an ECU tune. Primarily because it saves in the dyno time/cost. The suspension you can do anytime and is separate from the engine anyway.

Ideally, yes, banking on what has seen to work best w/ our Skyactivs. Saves tuning time. For those on a budget....One thing noted, independently, between the proper exhausts, intake & tune, the latter provides the most significant gains. Combined, the 3 will be optimal.

Hi Guys, new user here. I'm planning to buy a Mazda3 1.5 2017 next week (not yet sure if hatch or sedan) planning to get a titanium flash color. This will be my 1st car so total newbie here. What are the important car accessories I need to buy or at least I need to prioritize? I'm thinking of buying the following:

    1. Matting
    2. Car seat
    3. Dash cam
    4. Tint
    5. Nano / ceramic coating (do I need this?)

Suggestions on where to get them will be very helpful. Thanks in advance!

Need help guys. I recently upgrade my rims from 16 to 18. Pero whenever i hit 90-100kph may unwanted vibrations sa body at steering wheel, hindi naman malakas pero d ko ito naeexperience nung 16. Napa wheel balance at wheel alignment naman after pagkabit. Dahil ba bago ung goma? Please advise.

Could be because you are using lower profile tires. It could be just simply because you now have less "air" between you and the road.

If just more felt vibrations, Yatta's point maybe spot on....
But if it's shimmy or steering shake at higher speed....examine tire mounting & balancing, again.
Check the tire's dots. If your wheels have a mark or dimple, align that w/ the tire's red dot. If none, the yellow dot should be aligned to the valvestem. This will help lessen weights upon balancing. Also, there are wheel weights that don't weigh as marked. They mess up the balancer's computer readings. Chances are, you'll end up a lot of weight pcs. I favor these below. They are precisely marked & weighed. For the OCD, these are pre-primed & ready for paint-matching to your wheel color, too.

This is likely a balancing problem. If proper remounting & rebalancing won't cure the shakes, look for Hunter Roadforce Balancer. It'll solve your shimmy woes.
    Mine are always RoadForce balanced.

I'm partial to the hatch for more practical & flexible trunk space...

My buddy fits a full-size MTB w/ removing wheels w/ rear seats folded in his HB.
And, good or bad, the hatch has more mods available....like visible exhaust tips? Optimize looks & performance w/Racing Beat axleback from the US...only the HB variant is available locally. Fits hatches 2014-2017. For details, email satravajante*gmail.com

OEM Sharkfin upgrade: eBay has links...

It also has a few wing options from different vendors.
Oh, if you don't wanna drill your pretty grille, email satravajante*gmail.com for details on the facelift plate relocator....This pic shows 4 holes drilled coz the owner was late in advising the dealership. Still, the lower plate location just looks better, like the M6....

On ceramic coating or paint protection, call Ian of Technical Details +63917 737 2958. He's a fellow Mown3r, too.

For mats, pedals, scuff plates, cams, call Louie Anson Ng of Lamson +63 918 535 3975.

Seat covers? Many went w/ Seatmate.
Tint? Check VKool's high heat rejection VK series films. If you want light but great rejection....VK70.

For the best bang4buck performance mod.....turn your 1.5 running like a 2.0 with OrangeVirus Custom Tunes from the US. Invisible, safe & reversible....Call Rafa of OVTph +63 927 155 8085.

Good luck, sir. Please share us what you finally decide on....& those plans. Grats!!!!

As per checking, yellow dots are not aligned. Also the 2 other tires does not have yellow dots.[emoji58] Do you know any shop with hunter roadforce balancer here in QC? How much would it cost? Thanks a lot.

This new EFBatt is from Johnson Controls. I know of a nonEFB-start/stop experiment.....did not last a year, even w/ iStop constantly off. Let's await more Amaron on iStop longevity tests w/ crossed fingers.
Manufacturers specify EFB or the higher AGM for start/stop...tests must've concluded against regular batts.

2 years of usage, issues so far are the following:
    1. Foul odor when driven hard
    2. Front suspension creaking noise (TSB on the "Thud" sound already addressed)
    3. Rattles all around the dashboard (TSB on the rattle on the A pillar already addressed)
    4. Rear noise when chassis is being "twisted" on uneven surface.

Hope someone can shed some lights on these matters...

It's possible that the yellow dots of the other 2 tires are on the other side ... some tires are unidirectional ...

How much clocked on your odo now, sir? Sulfur smell is not Mazda-specific. It should go away over time. Here's a recommendation...

Torsional noises can be a number of things. Check endlinks, bushes, rear strutmounts, etc. If we had PU bushes, noises will be much worse when the required lube dries up. Hope you can hunt it down & share over here, sir.

PDR the dings & pen touch up the chip, perhaps? I'm all for retaining the original skin as long as I could.

Same here, foul odor when driven hard. I'm using Shell FuelSave, maybe I'll switch to other brands. Are there any Mown3rs here who also experienced the foul odor thing and what did you do to eliminate the odor?
