The 3 won praises & multiple awards for its overall package of practicality, performance, technology, styling & handling.
If acceleration & agility are keys to your choosing, the hobo 3, being no slouch but heavier, might lose a few points to the 2..
But, If you ask here about Mown3rship experience, you'd likely get this standard reply...

Then again, both are good options. Sift thru your needs, discern well...if happiness is what you desire, give the heart more say.

Depends on your needs talaga sir, mz3 has also a sports mode if I'm not mistaken, yung mz3 ko kasi dito sa china walang sports mode but sapat naman ang acceleration.

I never had a chance to test drive a mz3 1.5v before buying it though nagtest drive ako ng mz2 R since same sila ng engine. Wala ako masabi, zoom zoom talaga siya. Since its a test drive unit, drove it like i stole it. Hehehe in my case, never had a chance to drive hard my mz3, pero power is okay to me despite na heavier siya sa mz2.

I (or rather we) settled for the 2 R kasi hirap ang Berjaya sa supply ng 3 noon. We also realized di naman kailangan ng malaking kotse kasi may SUV na kami. Request na lang a testdrive of the 3 (if possible the 1.5 version), nasubukan ko kasi yung 2.0 (a few days ago) and the extra horses are great. Iba talaga kapag malaki makina.

Had my first pms (5000kms) yesterday, they change the oil and oil filter only, maintenance advisor said my next pms will be 8000kms or 6 months whichever comes first, is it the same there in the Philippines? Also, ano ang ginawa sa mz3 nyo on your first pms?

Exactly my dilEmna maybe two months ago or so - mz3 v or mz2 r. Loved the interior of the 2r, but loved the exterior looks of the 3v. Engine was not a big factor after getting assurances the 3v was not underpowered. While in the end, I decided to get the best of both worlds (for me, and by expanding my choices), if I had to choose between the 2, I'd go for the 3v

Assuming all your papers are in order, 4 Months is a tad long for whatever color. Maybe time to check with other SAs or dealers.

True! 4 months! Tagal naman nun. Kaya ako hindi ako kumuha sa Manila ng M3 kahit sa Manila ko gagamitin yung kotse. Sa Sta. Rosa ako pumunta. I was on the assumption na maraming nakapila sa Manila sa M3.

Ya, i was the 7th in line for the particular color of 1.5 HB i wanted. It was the dealership with the best deal so i just waited.

Btw, any news about a mid-generation refresh for M3? I think the current gen is on it's 3rd year now.
