So based on your experience does it resist cat scratches? Dirty rag scratches (nahulog sa floor sabay punas sa panels) that often occur in car wash?

Do those examples reach glass coat only? Clear? Paint?

How thick is the glass coat to help in resisting these kinds of real world daily paint damage?

And when you say glass only, madali tangalin yun gasgas, via buffing? Then reapply glass coat?
Hi sir, allow me to reply here..

Usually kaya sinasabi na medyo scratch resistant sya because:

    1) coatings are usually harder than OEM paint or clear coat (some "claims" as hard as glass in Mohs scale - 9h)

    2) if applied in many layers, it will be thick ( 5microns or more) so some scratches like those from pussies may not penetrate up to the clear coat. Our clear coat could be anywhere from 20-45microns (guesstimate lang)

So imagine having that sacrificial layer of protection with coatings... Not only that, they are usually hydrophobic and very slick so water and dusts don't stick to it. Madali linisin. It also protects from UV rays but kinda redundant since our clear coat protects the layers beneath from UV rays din. But if clear coat is polished to a certain point, natatanggal na itong UV protection because most are located on the top layer of it. So having that UV protection from coatings will be beneficial.

Highly unlikely. That tok issue only hit random early 3s. You just very recently got yours.

I agree, I line & clip on nomads or copies on these liners. Keeps mud smudges invisible, too..

There is neither need nor pressure for such a promise, good doctor.
Mutation is inevitable & resistance is futile.

There's one in OLX selling an OEM back up camera. Price nga lang is almost double ng kay Lamson. Casa will also offer OEM backup cam installation pero sabi, 10k daw ang price.

    RE: brake sounds
Bro Archie, don't worry, normal yan. Even yung 2 Pajero namin pag matagal nang naka-park ay ganyan din. Tok sound is not connected to it.

Thanks for the explanation, not much different from the shop i talked to and had our 3's paint measured, and its playing between 100 to 130 microns. Additional 5 isn't much, considering other euros are playing at 180 to 210 microns.

How many layers yun 5 microns?

Anyway baka pwede testing yun pagka scratch resistant ng mga nagpagawa, haha, to really find out its scratch resistant-ness. Any volunteers? [emoji12]

I actually offer the same service. If you want we can coat a portion of your car to see? Hehehe it's really hard when it cures.. 5 microns is a guesstimate. Maybe it can go to 20microns? Not sure cause I don't have paint thickness gauge yet.
