Congrats sir! Ako din M3 2.0 Soul Red HB. Exciting talaga yan lalo na ung unang drive mo from the casaI remember nung kinuha ko ung M3 sobrang kabado ako, ang bagal ko mag drive ayaw ko kasi mabunggo

FYI I strongly advise against getting the free 3M car tint. Ako din kumuha ako medium 3M tint from the casa. Delikado talaga.
Sobrang iba, night and day ang difference. Malinaw na lahat pag gabi. Highly recommended ko vkool.
For car cover sir prone yan sa scratching ng paint.
Hi sir go-to-guy, yes windshield lang muna pinalagyan ko, sides are still 3M. Wanted to try it out lang kasi muna if may difference ba from 3M medium tint, and medyo nag titipid din kasi hehe.
Please see attached picture sir.
Nice one sir. Might give this a try as well. Satisfied naman with casa 3m medium tint pero i want to protect my dash too pag nakapark under the sun. How much pala oem 20 for ws only? And where did u get yours installed?
Yung free 3M tint ko sa casa worth 5k pina offset ko na lang sa huperoptik tint since they carry HO also. Been using huperoptik for almost 5 years, so far so good.

Kasi all sides kasi yung free, pero yung windshield hindy totally free.
Regarding car cover, my primary reason for that is yung place ko. Nagrerent lang kasi kami dahil malapit sa work and wala siyang garage. Lastly, yung protection rin nya from sunlight.

Congrats and welcome to the group.
If vinyl were as DIYable & as easy as gift wrapping....3M/XPel clear bras or 3M 1080 films would be among the best ways to protect paint.
Sadly when professionally offered, these peelables are costlier than the paint they're trying to protect...Haha....Doing that would be like buying a pricey backpack to protect an obsolete laptop????
I'd just opt for applied protective coatings to protect the finish from the elements. Against humans, I'd use dirt as my ally & leave the car muddy as hell always so no1 would go near, touch nor lean on it.![]()
sadly car cover can't protect your car from kids, depends what these kids play with, your car can easily be dented or vandalized (balls, bikes, badminton rackets, etc) even with cover on. though it can protect from scratches from kids drawing funny faces and adults writing "hugasan mo ako" on dirty/dusty cars or cats sleeping on the car like testament11.
covers mainly protect the car from tree saps and bird droppings or peeing dogs. kaso kailangan mo din labahan yun cover madalas.
as for heat, baka mas uminit pa yun kotse mo kasya without cover since heat is trapped, kaya i think meron covers na breathable type, to prevent this.
as for UV rays, depends sa cover, some protects and some do not.
yes cars parked outside without shade (babad sa sunlight) really dulls the paint eventually, bakes sap and droppings in the paint, destroying various plastics (yellowing of headlights) and rubber (cracked antenna base, antennas etc), discoloration of your interior, melting of rubberized plastic interior panels, sagging of your headliner, etc. halata ito lalo na sa mga european cars
the question if car covers can prevent or slow these down, i really don't know, i bought before an oem breathable cover for like 15k, di ko nagamit, kasi removing and installing it on a daily basis is just tedious, bago ka pa umalis sa bahay for office, pawis na pawis at madumi ka na, hehe.
so i just immediately remove sap and droppings soon as i see it using water, car shampoo and microfiber.
may mga products to protect the paint from saps, droppings, water marks, ceramic pro is one of those products, kaso mahal din. at least mukang waxed palagi yun auto mo though, kahit technically walang wax.
tint all your windows para pantay yun pag sira ng UV sa interior mo.
congrats and enjoy your new car![]()
️Sir do you the no. Of Mazda quezon ave. Nag SUA yung mazda3 ko... Need ko ipa tow nalang sakanila...2x na a few hours ago Lang...
balongbalong sir, you just articulated every reason why I never fell for the cover trap. Cover washing is far more complex than doing the car. Haha...& how do we prevent this? Cover the cover w/ another cover???? Hahaha.:D
Life is much simpler w/o em....even w/ OCD. Hahaha.
