Bro, why don't you ask for 10k worth of gas instead? Since your SA can't give you discount, might as well have em converted to something that you will use everyday. Besides your car needs petrol anyway. I hope it's still possible instead of getting nomads and car cover.

I looked for other Dealers to check if they can match the discount of 10k. Mazda north edsa said they can give 5k. So I told my s.a. that someone will give me discount. He told me the SA from north edsa's bluffing because they don't have a unit and they are under 1 management hehe. Seems like super hot ang demand and wala talagang supply for mazda3 lately because of mzd2 and mx5.

Pero in the end, he was able to convince his boss. 5k will be given. Hehe not bad. Better than nomad matting. Redundant na un eh. I'd really prefer cash discount.

This is through bank P.O.. Our agreement happened verbally during June. I asked for a discount and the SA told me he can give me 10k discount. I paid 5k reservation fee for sedan variant on July 10, there wasn't any final agreed price stated in the form. I didn't even know pwede un.

Around 3rd week of August, my SA informed me that there's a hatchback. I thought of it for 2 days, but when I gave my Go-signal, the car's gone already. Haha! So we changed my reservation to hatchback. Funny thing is just after a day when I changed my mind, a sedan variant came. But I passed. I'm fixed with the hatchback now. hehe.

This particular unit is actually allocated to another already. My SA argued with his boss/other SA to give this only unit to me since I paid reservation during July and the other reservation was only paid recently during September. He won, I even confirmed our deal, and he acknowledged everything.

He called me about the discount yesterday. His manager doesn't have any knowledge about our deal since yesterday. When he told him, ang sabi raw: "pinag-aagawan na nga ang unit bakit pa magdidiscount." and that they could just give it to the others who will pay for the full amount.

Ayun. I understand the situation naman. SA just offered me full windshield, 3m nomad, and another car cover on his account daw. But I really want the cash discount. End of the story is he was able to convince his boss to give 5k discount. Okay na rin. Even without the discount, I'd still buy this beauty! Hahaha!

To me, swerte ka na at nabigyan ka pa ng ganyang freebies at discount despite na hot unit pa rin ang Mz3. Mind you, hindi ako nag-eexpect ng kung ano mang discount nung time na binili ko yun sasakyan ko. Isa lang naman ang binilin ko sa SA ko that time, bigyan ako ng isang libreng full tank at libreng LTO. Ayaw ko kasi ng 3M tint that time at di rin daw maganda ang car cover na binibigay nila. Ni payong nga wala ako pero ok lang kasi madami naman kaming payong sa bahay.

Mind you, hindi ako nag-eexpect ng kung ano mang discount nung time na binili ko yun sasakyan ko. Isa lang naman ang binilin ko sa SA ko that time, bigyan ako ng isang libreng full tank at libreng LTO. Ayaw ko kasi ng 3M tint that time at di rin daw maganda ang car cover na binibigay nila. Oh BTW, did some research today for our infotainment. It is possible to install a TV tuner and/or media player on our car. I have seen a workaround on this and its quite technical. Another problem is parts needed for this to happen will be sourced out overseas. Even mirror link is possible on our car!

Meego's bro already posted that they are working on installing at TV tuner on our car. No updates yet as of now. As for the parts, the controller box is the most expensive which is around $300. From there, you can buy at DVB-T2 tuner or a Mirabox for mirror link function.
