If you want a bit of "domestication", get one thats JASMA-certified (note not JASMA-brand! There is no such thing as a JASMA brand). Sounds almost stock at low rpms, but opens up at the higher end. Perfect for trolling around the subdivision at night, but real meaty when you open up.

JASMA has really cut down on noise limits to be in tune w/ EU noise regulations. I believe post 2010 model cars must meet the 82dB(A) ceiling, down from 95dB(A) on pre 2010.
It's a good thing, really.

JASMA or Japan Automotive Sports Muffler Association certifies mufflers to be within noise regulations and yet at the same time give less performance restrictions than stock exhausts. As you know city streets are very narrow in Japan with homes and apartments literally just a step off the kerb so keeping noise pollution to a minimum is a big thing. So its a way for streetracers to keep the "shakken" in the daytime and still have fun at night.

Bro, why don't you ask for 10k worth of gas instead? Since your SA can't give you discount, might as well have em converted to something that you will use everyday. Besides your car needs petrol anyway. I hope it's still possible instead of getting nomads and car cover.
