For those who've had rear cameras installed, is Lamson Electronics the only option right now?

Their shop is a bit far from where I live (Pasig) and I'm not too crazy about the squarish camera (not liking the 4 dots on each corner also - are those light? Or for design only?) that they use for the M3 (as seen in their FB photos).

I prefer for the camera to look similar to the ones installed in the current M6 or the new facelifted CX-5.

Also, can anyone recommend a shop where I can get the fin antenna that's similar to the one installed in the 2.0 HB?

The four dots are lights that make night reversing more visible. Lamson's camera directly replaces the right side plate number light without affecting its function. You can opt to have a camera installed instead in between the two plate number lights. However, these cameras are not exclusive for Mazda cars.

You can buy a sharks fin antenna that covers the existing antenna base. Just remove the antenna rod and screw the wire of the sharks fin antenna. The new antenna is held into place by double sided tape.

Just to clarify sir, since the camera replaces the right side plate number light and doesn't affect its function, does it mean the left side light is strong enough to light up the plate at night? Or may light pa rin sa right side kahit may camera?

Btw HB sakin. I don't know if the position of the camera and lights are different for the sedan.

The 4 dots are lights. If you have a sedan, I was told by Anson that they have the OEM-type camera now. Malabo daw magkaron for the HB. Let's wait for other replies.

Yup. Hindi nga exact color. You can have it repainted to match or just make it stand out by having black.
