Ano yung tamang size na dapat kong bilin? Basta pang 13 na rim pwede kahit 205 or 195 ung size nya?

    Salamat.
those tires might be too wide. baka lalong bumigat ang hydraulic steering. go with original size.

Hi, helping a friend, ano kaya okay sa 215/70r15? He's considering, Continental, Michellin then R623.
Hiace yung sasakyan nya, he wants to go to 215/70r15 from 195R15

My philo on tire selection starts with Wet Grip Rating. My recent purchase is an "A" and its very good in the wet. Fortunately in the bundok where im from we have EU tyre labels..

Galing at may pricelist printout at madaming choices. May i ask what shop yan?

Not sure how michelin or continental tires perform in our hot weather but ive had good experience with dunlop lm703 and lm704. Since its a hiace van, u need the right load rating so u have to ask for each tire. A few of those on the list is just for sedans or small cuv/suvs.

Imho they should be ok, just stay away from the ones made in areas with colder climates (EU, US, etc). Continental and Michelin have manufacturing units in Malaysia and Thailand designed for the Asian market.

Re: R623 vs Agilis, sa R623 na ako. No tread chipping, good grip and treadwear. Yung Agilis seems like it will last longer pero madulas na pag <50% na yung tread. Nagchichip din yung tread kahit di naman nagooffroad.

Thanks! Been reading a lot of good reviews on both, pero may mga nabasa ako na mas matagal ang mileage ng r623. How about the GT and Continental?
The stock was Toyo H07 didn't aged well

No prob. No experience sa GT & Conti sa size na yun e. May bad experience ako on both pero sa truck tires. Yung r623 mahal lang pero sulit talaga.

Pay attention on the Load Rating and weather application of the tire you're choosing.

Gajah Tunggal, IMHO, is a proven brand. I've been using it since 1995. No bad experience whatsoever. Still using it on our car, MPV, and LT: it's a good buy!

Good day mga sirs. I need suggestions and/or opinions for my next set of tires. The stock tires (265/60r18) fitted were Dunlop Grandtrek AT22s, I'm currently using Dunlop Grandtrek PT2. Ang mahal kasi ng isang set ng Grandtrek AT22s sa official Dunlop centers. Mas mura and okay ba bumili sa S&R?

Ang options ko sa ngayon for my next set of tires are Dunlop AT22s, Bridgestone Dueler H/T, or Michelin Primacy SUV. Pwede rin sana switch to all terrain, halos ka price na kasi ng Cooper Discoverer AT3 yung ibang options ko.

Got Agilis instead. 2018 made, 2017 lang kasi yung R623 na meron sila. Eto pala pinagpalitan namin na Toyo 195R15 [emoji16]
Ginawa ko 215/70R15 yung Michelin na bagong bili.

Just one more piece of advice, don't go to Hi performance alabang... aftersales service is very poor there.
thanks for the warning. was going to buy one for my altis as it had a 3 plus one promo. Will wait for bridgestone then

I've just replaced my front tires with Nankang Surpax SP5 235/65/R17 from my suki for 5200/pc. I was impressed by the 108V load/speed rating which was an improvement from the 104T Westlakes it replaced. Unidirectional tread pattern also looked pretty good. After a couple of days, I can say that it has excellent grip. No squealing even with sudden jabs on the throttle. Though it seems to be a bit noisier than the old Westlake.

Been using Achilles Desert Hawk on my MOntero Sport for 2 months and they are really worth it..great handling low noise The previous Goodyear Wrangler HP are much worse than the Achilles as they are quieter, look great and very thick thread.

And Achilles tires costs almost half than Yokohama and Bridgestone.

The tread pattern and side walls look great.

Veteran brands like yokohama, goodyear, bridgestone and dunlop has just gotten too expensive for the common folk.

Using Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 for my 2010 Honda City. Good reviews abroad and has been generally good tires both in the dry and wet.
