Yes, those are overpriced, specially the Prius, but why follow the bad examples?
Is it really that expensive to import cars from Korea nowadays?
They used to be more affordable than CBU from Japan cars, that was their big advantage.

This is the interesting thing, at P1.358M, the CBU from Japan AWD Subaru Forester 2.0X is only P38K more expensive...

CAC are pretty much overpricing their vehicles. Di na ako magtataka kung yung Picanto nila in a few months time ay between 800k-900k na at yung Rio ay 900k-1M na yung price.

Di naman interesting yang Forester 2 liter AWD na sobrang hina at lame(Subaru's that make sense are only the Impreza WRX,WRX STI and Forester 2.5 XT).. Di porket Subaru ok na and this one isn't great at all kahit CBU pa yan.. Eh di mag Nissan X-Trail or Mitsubishi Outlander nalang ako!!

Most likely they'll bring here the 1.6 liter variants(LX and EX) of the Kia Soul..Ok yung LX M/T lang na mas mura kahit papaano..

Sorry but have to disagree you because I think the Subaru Forester 2 liter is actually one of the best SUV's for its price point. While Mitsubishi Outlander price may seem attractive due to its big capacity, I find it more like a utility car instead which is more suitable for out of town use.

Kia Soul has potential to be an excellent city car (like the Carens before). But at 1.2 to 1.3M, I guess there are better choices elsewhere as its novelty will probably wear off sooner than later.

I still disagree... Its not worth it,its slow and looks dull(its all wheel drive doesn't really make it sporty,novelty nalang yan ika nga),unless gusto mo nito para lang masabing may Subaru ka(mayroon ka na nito diba?)..Mas mura parin ang X-Trail 250X at 1.2M Pesos.


May bibili parin ng Kia Soul for sure at that price range and most likely the 2 liter LX M/T will be the best selling variant..Its a novelty car for sure..

Kanina pag labas ko sa place namin may naka salubong ako na Kia soul na color beige..panalo and porma..stock pa palang okay na okay na..

kahit na mahal presyo nito, sigurado akong may bibili pa din dahil maganda naman talaga yung Kia Soul..

I also saw a lot of these last week when we went to Subic. Media presentation yata kaya more than a dozen ang nakita namin, iba iba ang colors. Looks okay naman.

OT: xtrail is outdated already. same design for almost 6yrs since it came out 2003. interior looks silly with its instrument cluster at the center...doesnt even have 6 airbags or a moonroof. no offense to Xtrail owners but its ugly. not worth 1.2M. we have both 2005 Xtrail and 2009 forester FXT.

now the soul is a beautiful car with ugly price... i hope CAC will release the diesel variant it maybe worth it by then.

This Soul Variant from the UK deserves the 1.32M price tag & not the EX Variant being sold here.

Maganda ang interior ng current X-Trail(05 kasi yung sayo na pangit talaga)..Yung Forester eh yun ding sa Impreza ang interior which isn't great(di mo naman kailangan yung moonroof na useless sa atin).. Pero the Forester is only a great buy in 2.5XT form na tulad nang sayo but avoid the 2 liter variant..

Di magiging mabenta yang Soul EX A/T na mahal talaga and likely most of the sales ng Kia Soul ay yung LX na mas mura(yung M/T variant would be the best choice here),right now most dealers ay may display units na at mostly yung LX ang nasa mga dealers right now dahil Kia-CAC is expecting that one will sell pretty well!

Wow, it was a coincidence that my family and I were at the Tree top adventure at the same time with the media launch of Kia Soul.

We were debating on the price thinking that 1M is the max price for the car with that kind of look, size and engine. (Its cheap in the states)

But at 1.17- 1.3M, I wonder how many units Kia is planning to sell

could it be limited lang allocation ng CAC so for them better price it high? was really considering this vehicle but at this price, there are really a lot of other options.
