Thats in the UK, because its priced very low there, much less than a Sportage.
But here, I think CAC went too far in pricing the Soul very high.

The Soul would have almost been a perfect alternative to the common compact hatchback if it were some P200K-P250K cheaper.

I'd wager it'll still be competitive even if it's priced somewhat like the entry level compact sedans, in the 800-900k range. It'll somewhat eat into the market of the top-end subcompact sedans/hatchbacks and entry-level compact sedans/hatchbacks.

I`ve seen a grey kia soul already all I can say is, its big than i expected it to be and its incredibly nice.

Finally seen it up close at Kia Westgate Alabang. Personally its nice naman and I like it. Only one problem. "Overpriced"

still haven't seen one personally but based on the actual unit pictures posted, it really is a very nice vehicle. the design is still unique in the Philippine scene thus making it a very interesting choice. owning one makes you feel very different from others. somewhat like "one in a million" or "one in a hundred" perhaps.

the biggest hindrance is really the price. the model is indeed reserved for the rich and the affluent individuals who have all the money in the world or in the Philippines to spare for a very expensive toy. :sad:

You`ll see one soon, dont worry. Oh by the way there's one thing i dont like about the soul. Its rims. Too tiny, for me though, it just doesnt fit with theeee you know, overall body size.

16's kasi yan na more for comfort than for looks. ok lang siya tingnan at di naman pangit ang design niya. yun nga lang, maliit talaga siya compared sa 18's ng EX.

Yup overpriced sya but sinadya talaga yan ng Kia. Oh well at least its not as overpriced as the Dodge Caliber.

Just saw one at megamall and I have to say it's too expensive for its size. I'd rather buy a jazz and it'll save me a Php500k considering the interior space of the jazz is much bigger.

Just saw one at megamall and I have to say it's too expensive for its size. I'd rather buy a jazz and it'll save me a Php500k considering the interior space of the jazz is much bigger.

It could be expensive but some people still buying it probably because the design is unique and lots say it's cute. And I don't think Jazz interior is bigger nagkakatalo lang sa cargo space area pero sa passenger seating area I think maluwag ang Soul due to it's high roof design compared sa sedan.

im not sure though but, think the same thing can be said when the Japanese started entering the automotive scene. And now here comes the chinese....

At last, saw one kanina dito sa cebu, nag display sila sa SM, it was an orange EX. Ganda grabe, umupo talaga ako sa driver's seat kaya lang overprice. Im leaving for canada soon, this could be my new car there or the koup, tutal hindi naman overpriced ang kia's doon.
