7L. If the engine oil is fully synthetic it should last 15000km-30000km.

Normally 4L can last 15000km but since your engine oil capacity is doubled it should last 30000km. But with our fuels and traffic conditions, I would say 15,000km is a good indicator.

I would err on the safe side and change at 10,000km. Kapag traffic kasi Yungmakina sige ang andar kahit di umiikot ang gulong.

"tumitira" as in kinukuha nila good parts then substitute old worn parts?

i just check the brake pads on my sorrento this morning, pulled out the brake calipers and the pads are on its last few thousand kms. has anyone changed front and rear brake pads lately? where did you buy, what type and how much? i'll change the pads and dress the rotors myself. i just need an idea how much are the pads.

diy kanina, changed the brake pads. i had to buy an impact driver to be able to remove the brake discs. medyo malalim na kasi (about 1 mm) yung wear sa disc and need to make it even so that the new brake pads will sit flat. no machine shop, tiyga lang with a fine flat file (kikil) kaya natagalan. i finished 3, 1 more tomorrow. i started quite late na din kasi 3:30 pm na nung inumpisahan ko due to many errands i had to do. bukas na ulit yung isang natira.

tools you'll need in case you also want to diy:
    1.) 14mm and 17mm box wrenches
2.) 14 mm and 17 mm socket wrench
(you need both box and socket kasi meron bolt na box lang pwede meron din na socket lang ang pwede)
3.) impact driver if you need to remove the brake disc, there are 2 philips screws that are very tight and can only be removed by an impact driver
    4.) fine flat file
    5.) sand paper
6.) brake cleaner or crc degreaser. pwede din soap and watet, just dry it well with a blower.
7.) flat screw driver to pry the old pads off
8.) and of course, jack, stand, tire wrench, hammer

got the abs fixed last week at kia timog. it took them 5 days due to many jobs pending. i could have changed it myself in 30 minutes but i don't have an obd2 reader than can clear the fault. anyway it's done na. BUT... after i took the sorento from them i noticed a tok-tok sound from the front and rear. akala ko palpak na yung brake replacement na ginawa ko. but then this tok-tok.was not there before i took it to kia timog. anyway kanina lang ako nagkaron ng time to test drive. found out the problem. they must have removed all the wheels when they did the job. maluwag yung wheel nuts ng front right and rear right wheels. yun pala yung tok-tok umaalog yung gulong.

Is this the latest model Sorento? 2016?
I've read very good reviews for this vehicle.
