By the way, meron na bang nagpakabit ng headrest monitor dito? Saang dealer po kayo nagpakabit and how much? Yung head unit kasi na kasama, intended yung monitor for the front passengers, kaya nahihirapan yung kids ko na makita from the back.

Hi mga ka-Sporty. Certified ka-Sporty nyo na ako! hehe. Finally got my unit last night from Kia Las Pinas. Freebies were Head Unit upgrade (with reverse camera, GPS and TV - although mahina reception ng TV), LTO registration, matting and tint (although I told them wag maglalagay ng tint). Tapos nung paalis na, naghabol pa sila ng 500 pesos worth of diesel. Highly recommended ang Kia Las Pinas.

Napa-emergency leave ako today to spend quality time with Sporty. Ang mga napalagay ko so far are these:

1) Weathertech floor liner sa front

2) Packy poda matting sa middle and back ala Dockiks

3) K emblems. Hassle lang talaga kasi ang tagal ko na hinihintay yung emblems, tapos dumating sila the day after nakuha ko si Sporty. Nakiusap na lang ako sa Kia Acropolis, buti ang babait nila. 4 pa sila nagtulungan sa pagpalit ng emblems. Hehe. Inabutan ko na lang sila ng pang-merienda after.



Any suggestions pala pano tanggalin yung emblem sa steering wheel?

Hi Sir Congratulations sa new ride and baby mo hehe, ramdam ko pa rin po yung xcitement mo hanggang ngayon.
Warranty? Kalimutan mo na lang po haha. Pero I visisted Kia Pasig last month, katapat lang kasi sila ng Mickey's, may code alarm na sila, maybe pwede ka po inquire dun or sa ibang casa halos pareho lang ng singil sa Ride for fun, para di ka mag alala sa warranty.

Hi Sir, nagpakabit ako headrest kay Ka Benjie ng Maspro highly recommended ko po sya, dun din ako nagpakabit HU ko, Reverse cam and stepboard, pag upgrade ka pa ng ibang accessories ng Sporty mo ok sa kanya.

Ang daming epal Kaya na ng 1 (or 2 at most for the front) person magtanggal ng badge. This is how the steering wheel badge looks like. A Kia forum suggests using a flat screwdriver to remove it. Or just attaching the new one over the old one.

Took Sporty for his first out-of-town trip today. Visited a client in Sta. Rosa. Ni-reset ko yung FC meter after ihatid yung kids sa school sa Tomas Morato area. 8am yun so rush hour traffic. Route ko was EDSA, Ortigas to drop off my wife at SMC, then C5 and SLEX. I tried to be fuel conscious, pero may occasional hataw, ang hirap kasi tiisin eh. Hehe.

Nagpapalakas ata yung Service Manager nila, para dun na daw ako magpa-PMS sa kanila lagi hehe. Tsaka wala na sila ginagawa lahat eh nung pagdating ko hehe.

Thanks for the instructions. Try ko palitan later yung steering wheel emblem. Parang awkward kasi if ipapatong lang eh. For the front floorliners, I got it from their distributor, Hart International.

Wow, OK Kia Las Pinas ah! Matting and tint is part of the CBU from Korea. In retrospect, my dealer sucks. They even charged me for the LTO registration tapos may mix-up pa sa insurance tapos they are charging me an additional 1,600 for TPL that i've already got from BPI

Since we all got our Sportages from Kia Las Pinas, I have the same HU as Twinnies, Daisson77 and Peejabi. The screen is high def but I suppose is inferior to branded units like Pioneer. But it has GPS, BT (for handsfree calls), TV, iPod connectivity, rear camera hook-up, and USB/SD card playback capability for mp3/m4a/avi. Here is a demo by the supplier of Kia Las Pinas
