I finally got my unit last Monday and I'm a happy camper!


I read somewhere in this thread that small guys may have issues with the seat adjustment. I'm 5"2' but I was able to drive comfortably with the seat height adjusted to max settings :D

I'm planning to have my tints installed in Makati. Naka promo sila ngayun:

Talaga bang 160kph lang max speed ng 2.0 gas AT?
Parang sayang naman power ng makina. At ma kantyawan ka. Our old dmax and ae101 can do well enough to reach 150kph.

Made think, kamusta ang 2.0 gas AT sa overtaking?

Kaya ba lampasan lahat convoy ng 2-3 trailer trucks like i often encounter dyan bulacan-cabanatuan route? Mga 8-9pm madami narinmtruck pero ma madami parin mga kotse,sa daaan. Minsan nag take ako ng risk para ma overake isang super slow and loaded na truck. I think mas delikado pa pag nag tagal ako si likod nito.

Hindi naman, matulin lang talaga yung 2.4L at mas matulin pa yung 2.0 CRDi R-eVGT ;)

Hi. I'm seriously considering the CRDI version and I've been reading a lot of comments here. Many reviews complain about the stiff ride and the steering. What can the Sportage owners say about this? I've tried a road test but I can't really gauge it with such a short drive.

I've considered the Forester, XV, CX5, but so far the Sportage seems like a better deal.

Mukhang ito lng yata ang kakayanin ng budget. or sayang din yung matitipid. hehe..
usage will be frequent city driving lng and occasional (quarterly siguro) rough roads and long drive to cagayan valley.

sa mga nakakuha po nung Manual transmission nito baka pwede rin po pashare ng experience..
