I did try the AC while driving with the setting on the 2nd blue bar and it is still cool (not cold) but I have to set the fan speed at 2 to compensate.

I did notice that the jump (in terms of cold air) from your pic to another click to the left is big.

I also noticed nung kinuha namin sa casa si sporty that when I turned the ACU setting to a lower temp, namatay yung recirculate switch pero after 2-3 tries at a lower temp setting (2nd blue bar) the recirculate switch is always on pag nag AC na. Inisip ko na lang the thing adjusted to my preferred setting.

This has happened to me a couple of times. Napansin ko na lang after adjusting the temperature dial, nag-amoy car emission fumes na (from vehicles in front). Natamaan ko yata ng fingers ko while turning the knob while driving. Maybe that's what happened to you too.

I've always observed the temperature situation in relation to the dial settings during DAY driving with the sun out. I never tested it at night, kasi I've always kept the selector 1 click on the longest bar ever since my observation of warm air coming out if I move it 1 click to the right on the 2nd bar. I just make it colder as needed. But I just tried it now, and just like you, I can still feel cool air on the 3rd and even 4th blue bar. I don't know if this is only because it is night and the car interior and air is cool. Or because I had my 7.5K PMS yesterday and they had recalibrated the dial setting via the ECU (?) since I had complained about my observation. I'll check again tomorrow daytime if talagang nag-improve na, or kasi gabi lang tonight.

Hahaha!

Cancelled the reservation with Kia Acropolis. Their sales agent em de asis is hard to deal with. Panay commit tapos tatawag the next day di na puwede. Kaya kung meron sa inyo mapagawi dyan, dont deal with her..l.sasakit lang ulo ninyo. Got a better deal with kia cubao and my color preference was readily available (mineral silver) so i shifted na lang.

The way it appears, I would think that putting the selector at 12 o'clock position (between blue and red bars) would give out normal room temperature, neither hot nor cold. But for my Sportage, that position is between the left-most (longest) blue bar, and the one next to it (next longest). If I move it one click counterclockwise, lalamig na ang air. If I move it one click clockwise, warm air comes out. I asked Kia Las Pinas about this, and they say it is normal. Can you guys pls check out your units and share your findings? Thanks in advance!
Ganyan din experience ko. I was thinking at the 1st two blue bars may specific cold temp setting na siya. And when comparing cabin temp with the aircon temp setting mas malamig ang cabin temp kaya medyo warm air ang lalabas to equalize.

BTW i had my 1st PMS at kia pasay. Good service, also had my door locks programmed to speed sensing.

Guys may bago akong "upgrade" kay Sporty. Sobrang babaw lang! Hehe. For maximizing the available space in the glove box (tama ba yung term ko?).

Halos perfect fit sya. 80 pesos lang isa sa Ace Hardware.

So pumunta na lang ako sa Seatmate. Iniisip ko baka V-Kool na lang because of what happened this morning.
Sorry to hear that bro. Report mo kay Leo They were a bit late din when I had my schedule. Told to them to stick to their schedules even if they came from Pampanga, that time should have been included in their estimates buti na lang I made a buffer to my next appointment Made my decision to only have my windshield done so it won't take too long easier.

On the other hand, sa V-Kool Quirino I had to wait for the installers din. Tapos kinukulit ko sila to them started. Kaso this was early in the morning wala pa ata kasi boss. BTW, if gusto mo medyo value VKool at maganda un specs, try the K signature series. Meron siyang brownish tint to it. So I opted for the OEM 5 instead kaso now I feel it's too dark.

Sir nagsumbong na ako. Hehe. Kaso pag ganun naka-close yung doors the whole time para walang dust na pumasok. Kawawa yung gagawa, sigurado pagpapawisan sobra.

I'm still trying to weigh kung alin sa dalawa papalagay ko.

    Sirs:

Just a noob question... I went to KIA Makati this morning to see and get a look and feel of the Sportage. To my surprise I was looking for the handbreak, found none and the SA pointed to a far left foot break. It's my first time to see such and I never used one. Ito na ba ang bagong trend?

I just wanna ask how your experience is with this left footbreak (im not sure what it is called.. hehe).

Indi ba mahirap magadjust from the last time you used a handbreak? Or do you find it better at all especially when you get used to it?

    Thanks in advance

Hindi naman mahirap mag-adjust from hand brake to foot parking brake.
