    Good day, mga sirs,

The left side-mirror of my Carnival got damaged (mirror only, the housing is intact). My brother called casa to ask about a replacement mirror, but they don't have it in stock. Said at best, it would take around three (3) weeks time until it gets shipped here.

Does anybody know where we can buy the mirror here? And maybe how much it may cost? Just to have an idea when we go to canvas. Nagsubok din kanina tumawag sa Seiring pero sabi wala din silang stock ng item na ito. Any suggestions, mga sirs?

    TIA

Hi sir how much for the dpchip?

Hi sirs, just joined this thread. Just want to ask if your casa PMS for your carnival is every 5k or 10k?

Recently kia san fernando just shifted to FS oil from mineral. So i was fine with the every 5k PMS but now its FS na they still maintain that PMS should still be * every 5k...

if you use full coolant (no water added) then is should always be green, if you mixed with water, should be distilled, not the regular water from faucet.

    Hi to all,

I would like to revive this thread. I am planning to buy the current 2014/15 Carnival LWB EX. Can anyone confirm kung may mga nabawasang features. So far, the new LWB EX has:

    1) New mags (Y design)
    2) Power side doors & tail gate
    3) Power windows 1st & 2nd row
    4) Power folding mirrors with signal repeaters and heated mirrors
    5) Tri-zone Aircon control
    6) New HU with navigation, USB, ipod-ready

When I was checking 2007-2013 EX variants for SWB & LWB however meron akong napansin, sana may maka-confirm:

    1) The old offering was digital auto climate sa front while the 2014 offering is manual dials
    2) Leather seats in the old offering compared to the 2014 which is fabric
    3) More chrome trimming & wood panel / carbon fiber panel in the old offering while 2014 offering is all gray plastic
    4) Power seats for the driver in the old offering compared to the 2014 which is manual adjustments
    5) Spare tire in the old offering is full alloy wheel while 2014 offering is temporary / donut spare tire

I hope someone can share your ride specs. Planning to get the current offering kasi mukhang 2M+ na yung 2015/16 Grand Carnival. Thanks guys!

Mine is 2012 lwb ex. Same specs lahat sa 2014 or latest model Except sa mags design and head unit. Aircon dial is manual, seat is fabric, dashboard panel is all gray plastic, driver seat adjustment is manual, spare tire is donut type.

Hi there! A relative of mine has just bought a bank repossessed 2011 Carnival LX LWB. Unfortunately, it has no spare key. Is the Carnival's key microchipped? Or can we just make a duplicate anywhere?

^Hirap naman makahanap ng mga ganong battery. Outlast ang gamit namin sa 2011 Carnival ng kamag-anak namin. Sa mga Carnival na nakikita kong for sale sa Olx mga Motolite at Outlast din ang gamit. So far so good naman...

Ganon ba talaga yan?

    Hi guys,

I read this thread from page 1. Lots of great info!!

I am seriously considering a second hand carnival as a family van. I have some questions which I did not see coveted in the thread:

    1. Is it prone to turbo problems?

    2. Anyone experience any dirty diesel/injector issues?

    3. How long is the lwb? I.
    E. Is driving it comparable to driving a starex or fortuner? This will be my wife's ride if ever and I don't want her to have any issues with parking and small streets.

    4. How big is the cargo space of the swb- with the third row seats NOT folded?

    5. Can you fold/remove only one seat in the third row of the swb?

    6. I read also that you can forego the power doors and use manual mode. Ok ba to? Di naman nasisira Ang motor?

And I read so many people asking and recommending roof racks, mag nakabili and nakapagkabit na ba? Were you able to load it with cargo?

I am leaning towards an swb, but the space, price of the lwb are very appealing.

    Thanks in advance

Kamag anak namin may 2011 Carnival LX LWB. Was able to drive it on numerous occasions. Mileage right now is at around 33tkms. So far no problems encountered with the turbo and fuel system, though the alternator has been giving us problems from time to time. No black smoke even with hard acceleration. Length of the LWB is a bit over 5 meters, can't remember the exact dimensions though you can look it up. Compared to a ladder frame SUV, I find it to have lighter steering and better handling. It is a very wide vehicle though, much more so than any midsize SUV, I find this much more of an impediment than it's length when manuevering in narrow streets. It's not that hard to get used to though. I was able to help my 19 year old very newbie driver cousin practice with it and she didn't have much of a problem. Cargo space is positively cavernous. In fact, we we're able to fit the luggage of 8 people on a Baguio trip along with food and pasalubong with no problems at all. Engine performance though not top notch by today's standards, is more than enough to overtake the occasional arrogant Fort or Monty :D and allows cruising at 100km/h at a droning 1750rpm at 5th gear.
