Has anyone had to have major repairs to their suspension?
The price for SWB A/T Carnival is really tempting me.

October 1st, 2012 03:34 PM #986I just read an item from Top Gear forum that KIA CARNIVAL batteries last for only a year..
Also the suspension was replaced in just 1.5 years
And needs turbo timer to prevent the turbo problems...
I had already made reservations for a Carnival SWB and the agent called me today that
the unit SWB A/T will be available this 1st week of October...
Need your comment guys..

October 1st, 2012 08:53 PM #987I think case to case naman yung issue na nasa TG board. Mahirap naman mag-generalize ng ganun lang. Mabigat talaga kaha ng Carnival is you drive it crazy thru rough terrain mabilis talaga masisira suspension.
Yung turbo timer totoo yun! Not just for the carnival. Madadali ang buhay ng turbo mo kung biglang patay agad after a long travel. So yes, I'd recommend 100% the next mod you get is a turbo timer.

Im hesitant, but the kids really love the space....

October 4th, 2012 05:51 PM #990Yung carnival ko walang problema sa suspension. Mag 5 years na... :-) wala din akong turbo timer... Basta kapag malapit ka na sa destination mo huwag ka na mag gunnit...
But if you really want to install a turbo timer make sure na maglock ang kotse mo. Minsan kasi mga OEM central lock does not go well with turbo timers.

saan nga po pala kayo nag papacheck up ng aircon? ours need cleaning na yata.. rate ng denso is around 5 to 6k for the service..
lastly meron po ba kayong alam na makukuhanan ng sunglass holder? nasira na po kasi yung mga hinge.. mechanism.. puede ba yun or buong console ang papalitan? thanks again

January 14th, 2013 05:19 PM #1000My Carnival has reached 80,000km. The casa told me that, as part of the 80,000km service, the timing belt needs to be changed. They will need 4-5 days to do this. I accept that the timing belt has to be changed, Does anyone know of a faster (and quite possibly cheaper) alternative?
