I have an early 2008 EX variant, which has foldable trays. I don't know about the variant you have. Kapain mo lang to see if you have foldable trays. If so, bring it back to the seat cover supplier para maremedyo. When I got my leatherette seat covers, the trays were covered, but the supplier (Seatmate) was able to fix it. Madali lang yan.

    Hi Guys!

Three months have passed and the Carnival has been great for the family!

Question though, talaga bang may squeaking sound sa front dics brakes when you brake in slow traffic and release the brake? Hope there's nothing wrong with it Ü

Every when din pala regular change oil and tune-up? It says sa manual every 3 months or 5,000 kms. Just want to compare para di ma-void warranty.

    Thanks

Guys I will be changing my brake pads for my 2010 carnival. I read somewhere that we can use Huyndai Starex pads which is cheaper or what are the alternative pads - sobrang mahal yung stock. The casa quoted me 9k+ for front and rear. Same price na yon for the pads of euro cars plus I heard that the Kia pads are pretty soft.

Oh yeah mileage of my carnival is around 20k

Looks like your unit is still under warranty. You may have no choice but to get them from the casa if you do not wish to void the warranty.

IMHO, better buy an original brake pad sa labas and have it installed sa dealer...

Nuong time kasi nuong, pudpud na yung likod ng carnival ko and I don't want to buy the pads sa dealer.. Sobrang mahal, so I asked Goodgear kung may original.. Parang 1K difference ng pads ng starex and carnival.. Kaso ang problema that time, Goodgear, Seiring and Fronte, wala silang stock ng rear pads... Replacement mayroon. Ang kailangan mo lang gawin is to use your old shim para maikabit mo ng sakto..

Fronte is a good shop.. Pwede mo na din pakabit dun.. May inhouse mechanic sila kaysa sa Goodgear.. BTW, may problema ako sa Sta. Fe, maingay yung caliper bolt.. Fronte lang ang naka solve..

    Just an update guys...

May bagong variant lumabas ang Carnival.. Mas lower ata sa LX.. SWB siya.. pero ang price is 1.2M.. Difference nya.. external.. not much.. 16 inch ang gulong.. Internal, dual airbag.. (mine one).. Aircon switch.. may 1-2-3-4 instead na variable.. No switch sa rear.. 3rd row - bench type na..

Laki din ng binaba ng Carnival. The top of the line LWB dati nasa P1,695,000.00, ngayon nasa P1,450,000.00 na lang. Tapos ngayon yung bagong variant na SWB, mas mahal na lang ng konti sa top of the line Innova.

Is Kia Phil getting rid of its inventory dahil may bagong lalabas na model or have they finally realized that there products are expensive?

The only roof system without drilling would be aftermarket - thule would be your choice locally
