Duon sa suking tindahan ko, may nakita akong carnival LWB-LX, pinapagawa na yung compressor ng aircon, tapos yun fanbelt puro crack na.. its an 08 model... May nakapagpalit na ba sa inyo ng fanbelt... Ang nakakapagtaka 32K pa lang ang tinakbo.. and sa tingin ko hindi masyadong na maintain..

folks,

I'm considering of buying the 2008 EX Carnival this summer...

a, Feedbacks on KIA alabang? The place looks like a talyer than a casa.What can you say about their worksmanship?Any alternative shops for Kia here in Laguna?
b. Are the maintainance costs really that High?I'm planning to retain my FD civic so I would maintain 2 cars...

mga peeps, may nakapagpalit na ba sa inyo ng rear stabilizer link thru warranty? ano mileage nyo when u had ur claim & what casa location? napipikon kasi ako sa kia pampanga, kesyo di daw pwede i-cover ng warranty dahil 45k na daw mileage ko. thanks.

* petixs - i will sell my 2009 ex swb after holy week dahil mag-base na ako overseas for some time. around mid-May ang alis ko. just over 3 yrs pa ang balanse, 5 yrs kasi kinuha ko dati. if ur interested just give me a heads up. :-)

as long as every 5K ang pms and its still under warranty dapat cover yan.

What are they smoking in Kia Pampanga? dapat warranty pa yan.Pet peeves ko yang mga SA na mahilig umiwas sa warranty. yung FD civic ko pinaltan ko ng Head unit, nung nag claim ako ng tali light, akalain bang sinabi na baka hinde ma claim yung moist/lumot sa tali light dahil nagpalit ako ng HU. Sabi ko, tawagin yung manager nya at ipaliwanag nya sa harapan namin paano konektado yung HU ko sa nilumot na tail light.

Nung nahimasmasan sabi nya, pasok na raw sa warranty claim yun!hayyy

Nga pala PM mo sakin Cell/or any contactdetail mo if you dont mind, para I'd contact you in May, mahirap ng mag back read by that time..

Of course PM ko sayo contact details ko, who knows di ba hehehe

Guys, I plan to buy the current Carnival, bago na ata yung grill if I'm not mistaken.

What do I have to watch out for b4 I decide to get this one? Any complaints?

Nabasa ko yung tungkol sa battery. Medyo nahilo ako sa specs

So basically the battery should still be Rocket at hindi pwede Motolite or other brands (kahit Optima?) kasi di swak yung size and other specs?

yun nga nakakaloko pre dahil since kinuha ko unit ko sa knila e andun ako devotedly every 5k pms. i'll argue with them again pagpunta ko dun next pms. whew.

I went the Kia showroom in Pasong Tamo a few days ago to inquire about the Carnival. Yung naka-display ay yung LWB EX red, bigla ako napa-tulo laway when I saw it esp the interior. Mini van talaga unlike the other "fake minivans" (Innova & Grandis) ang sikip ng 3rd row

Ang medyo bad trip lang is walang kahit anong freebies na kasama. Ganon ba yan kasi bagong model (2010 or 2011) or kasi di ko pa pinipiga yung sales person? Wala man lang kasamang matting or seat cover na kasama.

hindi lang sila ang kia dealer...visit other dealers and ask for freebies...

* isuzoom - ok na pards. nkipag-argue ako sa SA nila a couple of days ago who even called their Mngr to "supposedly" back his SA's denial of my claim. kaso hindi ko pa nailalatag ulit yung argumento ko e sinabihan agad yung SA nya na ayusin yung claim ko para maiorder nila ng pyesa, hahaha.

so ngayon waiting na lang ako dumating ang pyesa para mapalitan nila under warranty.

a. I think they're "pwede na".. wala naman ako ibang choice. Medyo makunat sila sa warranty. Pababalik-balikin ka muna before they finally give-in to replacing the defective parts. I used to bring my Carnival to Kia Pasig before. I think expertise-wise, they're a lot better and more professional to deal with than Kia Alabang.

Ang ganda nga ng makina, ang ganda nga ng ride, ang luwang at comportable ng interiors para sa pamilya... ang problema lang, pagka nagka problema na ang Carnival mo, pahirapan na sa warranty. Ang mahal ng maintanance! I even compared the cost of maintaining my euro cars to my carnival. Believe me, maintaining the carnival is more expensive!

Ang bagal pa nila! 'Sus... wala naman ako ibang choice.

b. Maintaing a KIA Carnival could be a nightmare if you're not used to arguing/dealing with stubborn SAs. Ang number one priority yata nila makatipid ang dealer at hindi para ma-satisfy ang customer. Nagtataka naman ako, hindi naman sa kanila ang KIA Phils! Nagpapa-uto sila sa mga Koreano eh kasama naman sa bayad nating mga consumers ang warranty! Hindi naman talaga free yan.

Don't get me wrong, the Carnival is a premium family van. Comportable talaga lalo na sa mahabang biyahe! Hwag lang masisira, hwag lang me kailangang i-claim against the warranty. PI, mamumuti ang buhok mo kakaintindi!

guys, na-accelarate plan namin to migrate, due to sudden turn of events. will have to part ways with my beloved carnival by next month

dahil kelangan na naming mag-fly early April.
it's due for a pms around 1st wk of next month... so sagot ko na yun. ipa-pms ko before i hand it over to whoever is interested. u can make ur best offer mga bro....just need to have enough for d tickets and would be nice kung may maidagdag ng konti sa babaunin.

7.5 quarts motor oil, yes pwede ang oil filter ng Grand Starex to our Kia Carnival..
