Hi! I took my Carnival LWB to Baguio when the ODO was still less than 260km. 5 adults + 1 kid. Total trip distance 557.8km. Full tank depart for Baguio. Arrived at Manila the next day with 1/4 tank. Trip computer indicate 11.8l/100km.

After 2 weeks we went to Baguio again. 3 adults. Almost the same result. Trip computer indicate 12l/100km. Total distance 564.6km.

may trip computer pala ang ex model?

anyway, hindi kami tumuloy baguio, weather not permitting e, antipolo-laguna round trip na lang kami, FC was 8.5km/l not bad siguro considering puro zigzag yun. hindi lang masaya tatay ko kasi mas matipid pa daw yung land cruiser nya... hehe... sabi ko naman puro patag kasi dun sa pinagda-drivan nya at gaganda pa FC ng carnival pagtagal...

5 adults and 1 kid who thinks the 3rd row is his playground :D

BTW, hindi ako nagdrive, tatay ko. mabigat daw masyado paa ko e. hehe...

Yeah meron trip computer. Don't know how accurate lang nga. Haven't try computing FC manually.

Your right. The 3rd row becomes his playground! But the LWB is roomy enough naman.

My ODO is now at 5800+km na. Maybe baka mag improve pa yung FC now. Too bad diesel is very expensive now.

Did you have a look at the Grand Carnival on display at the KIA stand at last weekend's PIMS? Power seats, leather upholstery and roof rails come standard. I don't recall if the running boards were also standard, but I did not find them aesthetically appealing. Price still unknown.

has anyone here have problems with their carnivals a/c. I have observed that upon starting the a/c for the first few seconds the air it emits stinks i disregarded this for the past few weeks.. because the foul smell only last up to 5 sec...

earlier the foul smell seems to be getting worse

what seems to be causing this....

    ???

btw my unit has only clocked 3000+kms
a/c is always on recirculate and i never smoke inside the van

For me, the dealer-provided matting is good enough. I just added a small rubber mat on the driver's side, which is standard for me on ATs. The spot where your heel pivots between the accelerator and brake pedal wears out the standard mat fast. The installed tint I also find good enough. I just had them remove the tint on the front windshield, but that's just my personal preference. I had the dealer install an 8" ceiling-mounted DVD player. It does obstruct your rear-view mirror, but it keeps your passengers quiet. (I know I could have had it cheaper outside, but I did not want to invalidate the warranty, and I wanted the cost included in the invoice, as it was a company car.)

    Congrats on your new ride.
