sir, nag try ako magtanong sa handyman ng size ng o-sulee sa carens at ang sabi sa akin ay B for front at F for rear (based on their list ), end up buying only the rear, hindi ko kasi sure yung sa front e. as for the rear, ni-compare ko yung E at F at may konting difference lang sa height, i asked the saleslady if i can use the E, syempre sagot hindipero nung kinabit ko na parang i should have bought the E
*jds, sir ano pong size nung kinabit sa front mo?
thanks!
sige sir, ill wait for your updates. btw, kaya ko nasabing baka pwede yung E kasi nung ikinabit ko parang ang laki pa ng space between the springs and tingin ko E should be the perfect fit, sa F kasi, pagkalapat nung gulong sa ground parang sakto lang sya sa cushion nung na-compress, kung E siguro i can gain a "little" lift. As for the front naman, di ba mas mataas ng konti si A kay B? so B would be ideal sa front, patanong na rin po ako nito sir alwayz_yummy, auto shop naman po ata yung pagbibilhan mo so baka may explanation for this, sa handyman kasi saleslady lang kaya tingin sa list lang
salamat po!
ganun din dito sa suki ko, listahan lang din... a is bigger than b...tignan ko pagakbit ko
mas maganda ba yan kesa sa rubber lifters?? pa advise naman saan kayo nakakabili nyan at magkano??
sa handyman ko nabili sir, P2,200 for size A,B,C and P1,600 for size D,E,F. meron din sa blade
based on my personal experience, for 2 days, installed only at the rear, wala namang nabago, same same, hindi ko pa nata-try may sakay sa likod, baka siguro pag mabigat yung likod maramdaman ko na kung meron mang improvement
Sir,
I bought the size B for the front...but its too small, thus we have to change it to size A. The size E is too big and did not fit when we tried it...so we settled for size F which is a little bit loose when it is lifted but will fit nicely when it is compressed.
Had my Carens' EGR cleaned today at Kia Dagupan. Total cost is Php 2,300+ (1,000 labor, 640 coolant, 400 brake cleaner, and 300 "misc")
Here's the pic of the EGR.
..and this is how it looked like inside..

After...
Here's is where the EGR is located in the engine bay

It took about 3.5 hours. The mechanic first removed the engine cover, air filter assembly, and the coolant (which explains why the coolant was replaced)..The actual cleaning itself took 15 mins.
and by the way, the performance improvement was noticeable. I'm happy with the result.
